This brace helped me alot.

I've used some type of thumb brace for years for minor arthritis at the base of my thumb when I am playing the guitar. This new brace supports my thumb 100%, feels very comfortable, and easily fits around my wrist and base of thumb. Its design leaves my fingers completely free to fret the instrument, and the thumb fulfills its function of applying pressure against the fretboard with no pain. The brace does provide extra support for the thumb, but not in such a way as to interfere with hand movements, other than the thumb being held relatively stationary. I measured size; the smallest wrist diameter is just over 5", and the largest is just over 9". I highly recommend this brace.

Does not hold my thumb as stationary as I would like however it held my thumb more stationary than any others I was able to try. While at work the constant movement was causing some friction but it was not problematic. Outside of work the brace worked excellently. Due to the issues I was having with it Pikes Peak reached out to me and another product turned out to be a better fit for my needs. I will always search for Pike Peaks products in the future due to their customer service alone, even though their products are top of the line as well.

Awesome price for a comfortable brace. It is an comfortable as a brace can get. I bought two for less than the price of one similar brace. I washed them in a washer and they help up fine except for a small hole in one that let the support element pop out. But for the price I was more than happy to stitch the hole. Buying two is a good idea because you always have a clean one while the other is in the laundry.

This is so much more comfortable than the bulky, chaffing splint given to me at my doctor’s office which left bruising on my hand!Helps immobilize the thumb without otherwise limiting you. As my thumb is mostly healed, I occasionally use it while my thumb is flaring up a slight or to pace myself with household chores that could re-injure the thumb.I’m a massage therapist and strained my thumb and this has helped me recover along with occupational therapy. I’m already back to work after a couple weeks!

The Thumb Brace/Splint is a good product and probably very helpful for entire thumb pain or Corporal Tunnel Symptom. My issue per doctor is a single bad joint in the Thumb and so wasn't as useful.

I ordered the thumb brace to prevent mine from bending since developing trigger thumb (or in my case 'texter's thumb'). It served the purpose when I wore it. It doesn't work with certain gloves in the winter. It is not supposed to be worn at night. I still have pain and 'clicking' when bending my thumb and will soon have a cortisone shot to attempt to relieve tendon swelling at the base of my thumb.

I have tendonitis and I've had a brace before where my thumb was immobile. But this one has a strap around the thumb and strap around the arm; but, there needs to be one around the wrist for better immobilization. In addition, the plastic on the thumb side is very flexible. I had to add my own velcro strap for the middle.

I bought this on the advice of my doctor to help relieve a trigger thumb condition.POSITIVES - Provides excellent support and relief at a very reasonable price.NEGATIVES - After a while I found the Velcro fasteners tended to ‘dig in’ a little bit at both the thumb and wrist fastening. I have overcome this problem by using a short length of tubular bandage at both locations and this renders the brace totally comfortable for extended periods of use.OVERALL - I’m very pleased with this product and it provides considerably better support than other braces I have tried. Also, the item was well packaged and sent very promptly.

Loved the style that was really comfortable but the stitching on the strap going round the thumb fell apart during the first day of use so I can’t use it.I’ll get my sewing machine out to fix it.

I woke on Monday with a very painful thumb joint and bandaged it to not much avail. I went onto amazon and discovered this very economical item a fraction of the cost of others. it arrived Wednesday morning, (2days,) beautifully packaged and it works a treat. At the price it is a steal. No wonder the hight street is dying.

I have damaged the knuckle joint of my thumb and needed a splint that would prevent me from moving my entire thumb. The splint is perfect , it is completely adjustable and comfortable to wear. It is strong and durable enough to wear everyday.

I'd strained the ligaments in my thumb. One doctor said it would take 4 - 6 weeks to get better but after 4 weeks I went to a sports injury clinic and it finished up even worse. I'd been using a sports wrist support, then bought one that also supported the wrist and lower part of the hand. After 5 weeks a different doctor showed my this support which includes a metal bar which runs up the side on the thumb. I've found this really helpful in stopping me using my thumb. The design is good: one size fits all and either hand. I highly recommend this product for anyone else that needs to limit how much they use their thumb. It is certainly helping my recovery. When you're 74, your body heals slower than when you're younger. 4 - 6 weeks recovery might be right for young people but I'm going to be at least 8 weeks and probably more.Product shipped very quickly arriving one day earlier than predicted.
