Can’t say enough great things about this medicine compared to other medicines out there with alot chemicals

My 8-year-old son is currently sick with the worst cold he's had in years. I don't usually give him cold & cough medicine, but I had ordered the KinderMed to have on hand just in case. I decided to give it a try, because he didn't sleep well the night before due to his congestion and coughing. I gave it to him about a half hour before bedtime, and he didn't mind the cherry flavor. He seemed to feel a little better after taking it. He didn't seem excessively tired, but he was able to go to sleep easily and slept well. The next couple of nights he took it before bed but also asked for it when he woke up coughing in the middle of the night. It can be taken every 4 hours, but has been getting him through at least 6-7 hours. It helps him fall back asleep but doesn't seem to always last through the night.I appreciate that this is a cleaner option without dyes and artificial flavors. It only has 6 ingredients. The two active ingredients are Diphenhydramine HCI (Benadryl) and Phenylephrine HCI (Sudafed PE). Not all people react well to those, and you should always check for interactions with other medications. But, otherwise I recommend it.

nobody likes the taste of cough syrup. but at least this isn't full of artificial dyes and sweeteners. love the concept; rely on the effects.

I had to wait to write my review until I needed it for my granddaughter. I knew I wouldn’t have to wait long since she’s in Kindergarten and there seems to always be something going around. I was glad to have this on hand for her when she visited. The product was sealed well so there was no leaking.This cold and cough medicine is great since it doesn’t contain any dyes or artificial sweeteners. Just be aware that it does contain Diphenhydramine (which is Benadryl) so it will cause drowsiness. This is good though when taken at bedtime to help your child get a good nights sleep.My granddaughter had no problems taking this, she said it tasted pretty good. It certainly worked well throughout the night. It really helped her cough, which sometimes wakes her up during the night. She slept really well. My daughter stated she was going to buy some of this to keep at her house. She thought this worked better than a name brand she’s currently using. I’m really happy it has an expiration date of 10/24 so I’ll have it on hand for future use.

I absolutely love this brand of medicine and this nighttime cold and cough is no different. It’s made with only 6 ingredients and 2 of those are the actual medicines. My kids do not complain about the flavor and that’s always a major accomplishment with medicine. It has worked calm the coughing and clear the noses so my kids can get a better night’s sleep.

I love the organic and natural ingredients. I was curious about the flavor so I tried it. It really is much better then other medicines but does still taste like medicine. My kids prefer the flavor of this to others as well. It works well and the price is great especially for an organic product.

Ordered this to try since my child is allergic to dyes. The package came ripped open. I don’t use any food, beverages or medication that comes already open so now it’s a waste of money because I didn’t notice that there’s no refunds. Good luck if you choose to try anyway, but I won’t chance it.

My little one has a cough right now. It's pretty bad. I started giving him this and it really helped. He didn't complain about the taste at all which was great. It took a little bit but it did help him fall and stay asleep and not cough through the night so he can get some sleep. I would definitely get this again.
