I have an App for the iPad (and iPhone) that maps the canals of Britain. The iPhone has a built in GPS but, unless you have one with a SIM, the iPad does not. A wifi only iPad makes a guess at where you are if you are on a cellular network internet but it's not great. When I heard about the Bad Elf GPS for lightning connector, I contacted the e-canalmapp developer and asked if he thought it would be compatible; he wasn't sure but thought probably yes.After buying one, I took it to the boat (which is in a marina just now), took the iPad off internet access and plugged the GPS unit in. It took maybe 5 mins to lock on and get position, which inside a steel tube of a narrowboat is perhaps not too surprising, and then launched the app. And, yes! It knew where I was! As I walked up and down the boat, the location arrow on the app moved which was good, but I need to try it when we get out onto the canal now, but it's looking good!

I Use an I pad Air as a standby NAV unit and to get weather information on a boat in the med. I was going to buy the blue tooth version but though that it was just too much money and this was a reasonable option. They do not tell you that you can not plug the bad Elf in using the lightning connector without taking the Ipad cover off as the tongue on the Bad Elf is not long enough. Small detail I know but a complete nuisance to have to take the cover off every time you put it on and then have to re cover the Ipad if you wish to leave the boat as I would not like to be walking around or putting the Ipad in my bag with it attached

I think this is a great product mixing style and functionality. The only reason it gets 4 instead of 5 stars is because my iPad just fits and no more which for people of a nervous disposition will not like but I can tell you that the kids have had it for a week now and it has never came out of the case so it's safe to say it fits but only just. The one I got could of been slightly out of tolerance.

Nice attractive and practical iPad cover. A little different from the more common ones but attractive. It does not rotate, but it does not matter, sometimes one wants something different. The yellow inside is stunning. It arrived quickly and I would recommend it.

What a beautiful little lamp, ideal for watching telly by, the colours are gorgeous, really pleased with it, ordering more for Christmas presents!!

Plugged it in. Worked immediately. As I intend to us this outside! I put my ipad in a waterproof strong cover. The receiver doesn't fit. I had to buy an extension. I guess somebody should have thought of that.

Rispetta le mie aspettative, calza perfettamente il mio ipad3, chiuso ingrandisce un po il layout dell'ipad ma a questo prezzo ho avuto un buon case e di bell'aspetto, il contrasto nero giallo è veramente azzeccato! Ovviamente la fattura non è eccelsa come altri case precedentemente posseduti. Le superfici sembrano quelle di alcuni raccoglitori ad anelli con la copertina rigida, trattasi di cartone plastificato; così come le pieghe, a mio avviso con il tempo si scorticheranno lasciando in vista del cartoncino quindi eviterò di infilarlo nello zaino insieme ad altri oggetti, se ne avrò cura penso farà il suo lavoro per molto tempo. Nel complesso mi ritengo soddisfatto.

La cover è molto comoda, compatta e leggera, la posizione di lettura è ottima e molto semplice da usare.La chiusura della copertina funziona bene ed accende/spegne il dispositivo.Sono dubbioso sul materiale cui è fatta la cover. sembra un cartone rigido rivestito di materiale plastico che dala sensazione di poco durevole. E' comunque una snsazione, mi è arrivato da poco per cui non posso recensire ciò che non è accaduto.Sicuramente dal punto di vista della funzionalità, aspetto, prezzo è attualmente un buon acquisto.

Die stecken sind von der Qualität noch so gut wie ich gehofft habe, der Verschluss löst sich von Beginn an sehr leicht sodass ich schon nach einer Woche den ersten verloren habe, das Motiv im Stecker wirkte nach ein paar Tagen schon sehr Matt.

Scadente e molto scomodo da usare, si poggia su due gommini per tenere l'iPad aperto, che poi si staccano e riesce impossibile tenerlo aperto. Colore bello rigida al punto giusto, ma non la consiglio.

.....non è in pelle, ma si presenta bene ed è robusto.Inoltre all'interno è in plastica, ergo si può pulire, al contrario di custodie che all'interno sono rivestite di simil-alcantara; dopo poco tempo queste si macchiano in modo permanente.Molto soddisfatto.Consigliato

La custodia è molto carina esteticamente. Dopo un po l'ipad scivola e non si riesce piu' a tenerlo nella posizione nell'immagine. ho risolto con un po di scotch/adesivo quando lo uso.

Buono i materiali utilizzati. Spedizione veloce come sempre, Amazon è una garanzia . Forse un po' troppo pesante. La parte esterna della cover tende a graffiarsi ma niente di grave.

Cover come da foto. Si applica perfettamente al Pad dandogli un aspetto decisamente più solido. Ben rifinita, colore molto bello. Venditore assolutamente puntuale. Consigliato.

Molto solido ed elegante... devo capire solo quanto sia resistente a graffi e simili. Ce l'ho da 10 giorni e un piccolo graffietto già ce l'ha. Per il resto lo consiglio

Diventa un libro, molto elegante, accensione e spegnimento col magnete funziona bene, regge bene anche per scrivere senza scivolare. Inclinazioni infinite.peccato non si possa usare anche in verticale.
