Nice tool, pricey but worth it
The is a very nice tool. it is pricey and not something the average diyer will use, a lot anyhow. i had used one that i borrowed one time and it worked perfectly in testing relays on my tractor. when i started having issues again i went ahead and bit the bullet and bought my own. there are different versions, one being cheaper that might fit your need however it will not do as many different types of relays. So make sure the one you buy will work on your relay.

Works well for what I needed it on
Great product. did what I needed it to do. It found the issue in my relay. The "fit" for the unit.. i.e how well the relays plugged in was very tight. Worked great. Would buy again!

Relay Buddy Super failed to test the a 4 pin automotive relay. The device incorrectly diagnosed all of the relays tested. Very disappointing. A home made relay tester easily proved that. See video attached. I am still looking for a decent relay tester, if anyone knows of a good make and model, please put it in the comments.

This relay tester will test more different varieties of relays than other testers I have owned. I have purchased the shielded relay adapters, so I'm covered for any 12 volt relay. Maybe a little more money than some other brands but well worth the extra $
