I want to let the future customers know this…I paid for it $49.99 with tax is $53.The product is well made as far as metal and look are concerned. However, the fingerprint portion Do Not work. I entered my fingerprint and my kids fingerprints multiple times, and we tried to open the door afterward and the door wouldn’t open.The app doesn’t work..!! The lock didn’t recognize our fingerprints.It actually locked us out..!! It causes us in a panic state since we cannot get inside the bedroom to sleep.We had to used the actual provided keys to open the door manually in order to enter my bedroom.Then, when I returned the item on Amazon, it indicated that they only refund me a total of $43 dollars..!!The vendor/seller selling me a Product that doesn’t work and then punishing me for return it by deducting $10 dollars from my original purchase..!!The seller should refund $49.99 with Tax that is $53 dollars.The seller needs to Refund the original amount that I had paid for this door lock ..!!! Because it’s Not my fault that the lock doesn’t work..!!If it had worked, then I would have kept it..!!!

The media could not be loaded. Old handle Bluetooth app stopped working so we had to replace the whole setup. These work great and they have a key so bonus the old one didn't have a key so we could no longer unlock the doors.

We needed something to keep our bedroom secure when we aren't home. It takes AAA batteries to power the door handle. It also comes with a Key In case the handle is off, which we find happens more than it should. We have to keep a pack of batteries around because the handle uses them often. That Is the biggest compaint. Installing was simple, and programming our finger prints was easy also. Not sure if we just got a bad one or if this happens to others.. just can be annoying.

These locks were easy to install and configure. Just add a Wi-Fi hub and you can control them remotely. The biometrics work very well.

I purchased two of these door knobs for interior rooms in my house. Ultimately, I do really like them. They feel solid, they were easy to instal (assuming you know how to install a standard door knob) and they look like an almost standard doorknob (no keypads, strange lights, or odd proportions). As a doorknob, and the idea behind it, I would absolutely give them a 5 star! The only issue I have had so far is with the app, and how it seems to work.1) I really like that you can go into the app and have the doorknob either automatically lock, or not. What would make it even better is if you could “toggle” that option right from the knob. (For instance, trigger the knob 3 times within 10 seconds… or some other way) We like to only lock one of our doors when we have guests… and it would be much easier to be able to toggle it on without having to use the app.2) A very similar issue is if you turn the auto lock off, I have not figured out how to lock the door with just using the knob. It would make sense if you trigger it to unlock, you could just trigger it again to lock it… but I have not figured out if that is possible. Every time I unlock the door, and auto lock is not turned on, I need to get back into my phone to lock it. Very inconvenient!3) Probably the biggest issue I have with this lock is that every member of your family HAS to have an account to be a member of your “Tuya Family”… The problem with that is I don’t want to sign my 4 yo daughter up, just to allow her to open a door. To make it worse, I CANT even sign her up, because she would need her own phone, or compatible smart device (you can’t sign up using an internet browser… you need to download their app…) The only work around I can find is luckily the door my daughter needs access to, my in-laws also need access… so I should be able to set up an extra finger under my mother in-laws account that will give them both access to the one lock, and not the other… but I think you should be able to add family members without them needing a fully separate account.

Its a great door handle, but sometimes its shuts off and I manually have to unlock it through the app, which is kinda annoying. Also note that if anyone in the house knows the app they can unlock the door handle via bluetooth.

The media could not be loaded. I bought two in February of 2024. They were great at first. Worked flawlessly. Only one would pair via Bluetooth but no big deal because we never needed the app. The auto lock worked great. By June of 2024 they would unlock only 1 out of every 2/3 tries. It would turn green and acknowledge/accept my thumbprint but the locking mechanism would fail to pull back so I could access. Over time it takes more tries to pull back the locking mechanism. Maybe 10-12 times now. Very time consuming and annoying. The app doesn’t open it at all even with 40 tries. This happened with both locks at the same time so I know it’s not a fluke or user error. I’ve charged and reset them multiple times to troubleshoot without success. Do not buy.

Haven’t had any issues yet. Would purchase again.
