YONGNUO YN35mm F2 Lens 1:2 AF/MF Wide-Angle Fixed/Prime Auto Focus Lens for Canon EF Mount EOS Camera

I recently bought this lens for carp fishing self take photography. Very pleased with the photographs that I've taken up to yet. Image quality is much better than the canon kit lens that I was using previously.

For the price, the lens takes pretty good pictures. The sharpness and clarity with the low f number bring out the details on the pictures very well.I am sure there are better lenses out there but this one does the job for me.

Sharp in the middle, softer at the edges - a bit of fringing there as well but nothing that noticable. Blooms a bit in strong light. Nice, creamy blur at it's widest aperture - great bokeh too. A bit slow on auto-focus on the 6D - sometimes hunts a bit now and then. I bought it for a wider field of view than a 50mm for documentary filmmaking but have also found it to be a really fun portrait lens as it's slight fisheye effect, and soft edges and blurred background gives a great, slightly stylised feel.

Great cheap lens good pics,well worth the money

I love my 50mm prime but as I take a lot of photos at conventions there's not a lot of room so I thought I'd give a 35mm a try and this lens is great. The focus is quick and no more noisier than my Canon 50mm so for the price it's a great addition to my kit.

You'll find plenty of reviews on the internet about this lens. Even on Amazon is quite frequently marked with 5 stars and praised of his price/performance ratio. Sure, the price is cheap, but mark my words: this is just Chinese garbage. The filter mount is so wobbly you can play it like a maracas. It moves the entire frame while you're focusing in manual. It feels like is about to collapse on itself and you've just unboxed it. Absolutely unreliable, cheap, blurry lens. Do yourself a favour, spend and extra 30£ and get the Canon EF-S 24mm f2.8 instead.

I like the fact that I can shoot closer then I would have with a 50mm but there seems to be some haze around during the subjects. Considering the price this isn't too bad though. Will continue to shoot and report back later.

Per quel che costa é super!! Molto nitida, bellissimo bokeh e luminosissima. L'autofocus potrebbe essere più veloce ma a questo prezzo sarebbe impossibile. Promossa:) occhio però che su un sensore no full frame sk deve convertire la focale. Restituisco perché preferisco il 35L di canon ma se non c'è il budget come unico obiettivo lo terrei

Great lens only a little noisy when autofocus is active great value for price

I bought this and a Yongnuo 1.8 50mm as an experiment. I’ve been very impressed. The optical quality seems dead on. Quite comparable to the Cannon lenses. No graininess. No pincushion. No are etc no distortions. Test images show perfect quality. The body materials aren’t quite as robust as the Cannon, and the autofocus is louder. But works perfectly. These are a great inexpensive lens for the advanced hobbyist. I don’t know how well they would hold up to the rigors of professional use. But for students and typical after hours photographers they are great. You can’t beat the price. Nice fast lenses.

Vraiment un bon achat, pour réaliser de portraits avec un Bokey intéressant au vu du tarif, il est très clair et fonctionne bien sur un canon EOS 70d apsc.

Ha cumplido mis espectativas con creces. Mis dieces. Muy recomendables para retrato y uso en general, muy bien en relación calidad-precio.
