I ordered the Potassium Iodide by REMEDIATE, Iodine Tablets, Potassium Iodide (KI) 65mg,because we wanted to have more of these on hand just in case. These Potassium Iodide tablets are used to flood your thyroid with the harmless form of Iodine, during an emergency situation, therefore preventing or reducing the uptake of radioactive iodine by the thyroid gland. This is most important for younger people because they can sustain damage that can cause health problems years later. These tablets don’t contain any extra ingredients that might cause allergic, or other reactions. They are only for short term, emergency use. We already had one bottle that we had purchased a while ago, and feel better having two. There is an old saying in the prepper community; two is one, and one is none. I highly recommend that everyone get at least one bottle, for themselves, friends, and family, just in case of nuclear accident, war, or other radioactive contamination.

This is a great preparedness item. It's one of those things you would rather have and not need, than need and not have. Made in the USA, GMO free. The bottle is nicely made and it has a great seal on it.If or when a major catastrophe ever took place, this is a great item to have on hand.

THIS is a must have product if you live anywhere near a nuclear plant. BUT... this is the one supplement you don't want to mess around with as far as being reputable.This brand does not have an operating website with makes me question things a bit.... but perhaps they are just a brand new company. I have seen many bogus "Made in the USA" products, it is a claim that is so easy to make just by creating it right on the label, there are no regulations as far as that goes.Last but not least, this product contains all the bad additives that do not belong in supplements, including maltodextrin which causes gastric upset in a lot of people and is very bad for diabetics.

I am not what you would call a prepper but I do believe in being prepared for some things. In our state we had that bad train crash a while back and we are concerned about the quality of the water - so we got something for that. Now we hear that the ptb are warning us about war and radiation - so we got some of these just in case. No I have not taken any yet - as they are only for use in certain situations,. However the quality seems nice and the product seems genuine. Looking forward to never having to use these to be honest - but good to have.

I have been taking Potassium Iodine as prescribed by my doctor for over 5 years now. The amount I take daily is 255mcg and the conversion to mg is 1000mcg to 1mg. The dosage for one of these pills is 65mg that would be 65,000mcg. I will ask my dr when I see him next, but I think that is much more than I am supposed to take.

They are USA made and no gluten or gmo which is great. This is something everyone should have on hand. You never know when an accident or something more sinister may happen. After it happens it will be too late to order. Hopefully we will never need them but it’s like having a fire extinguisher for “just in case”

This is a bottle of potassium iodide pills in 65 mg strength.The expiration date on this is September 2032! You get 90 pills in a bottle, and the dosage listed is two tablets per adult. We have potassium iodide in our first aid kit, but it's getting a little old and I wanted a fresh bottle, so we got this one. I can remember not too long ago, there was a shortage of these pills and they were very difficult to get and very expensive, so I try to keep them in stock at our house. You just never know.We are very happy to have these in our first aid kit!
