I bought my dad a stunt kite for his birthday (long story) and on the instructions it said the ideal wind speed for flying it is 10mph, so I thought he would need an anemometer to make sure the conditions were optimum for whatever you do with a stunt kite. Absolutely cannot complain about the quality of the product for the price. If it was required for something more critical than kite flying I would probably spend a bit more, but this is absolutely ideal for its intended purpose. Very easy to set up and use, the buttons are intuitive (apart from turning it off, press both together) and the rubber case and lanyard are really useful. Nice and small as well so it fits in the pocket in the kite bag perfectly.

Product works well and great for knowing wind speeds when up in the hills.But came cracked when I received it.Amazon were great with this though and replacement was sorted straight away

this is good value for money but didnt like measuring flow rates under about 1m/s. I was trying to measure performance as I made improvements to my motorhome air vents but this meter showed 0.0m/s when I could feel air flow. if I blew the meter fan before putting against the vent then it did measure 0.7 or so, so the low flow wasnt enough to get the meters fan turning (which isnt really that useful). I cant speak for the actual accuracy as have nothing to compare against

Got mine for drone flying. Don’t always trust my weather app especially at different heights. Really useful. Would recommend checking the silver battery contact strip is slightly pulled out as mine was flat. Having looked on line found how to fix as I nearly sent back. Highly recommend

This anemometer works as expected, but the controls are confusing unless you memorize the manual.Thankfully, the manual explains everything in detail and is easy to understand.The device is palm-sized, and the screen size is limited, but the displayed text is large and easy to read. It even has a backlight for nighttime use.It uses a CR2032 battery, so replacements are easy to find.

Es un aparato bastante sencillo que se fabrica en China, como todo, por un mayorista que posteriormente vende a diferentes fabricantes, lo que significa que este modelo podremos encontrarlo en el mercado bajo diferentes marcas comerciales pero básicamente con idénticas funciones.Al ponerlo a nuestro gusto, en cuanto a las medidas, hay un punto que hay que explicar y que en el folleto explicativo que incluye el aparato bajo la marca PROSTER no lo hace.Hay una medida que nos aparecerá en pantalla cuando lo estemos reseteando que es la palabra "Cu" que hay que adivinar que viene del inglés "Current" y que te marca la velocidad "actual" del viento que haga.Si no queremos saber la "media" o la "máxima" y solo queremos saber cómo sopla el viento en el mismo momento de la medición, deberemos poner ese parámetro en "Cu" y los demás en lo que deseemos. Bueno, pues esto no te lo explica este folleto en concreto, ¿de acuerdo?Si navegas sería apropiado poner la medición en nudos porque es la terminología marina y lo de metros, kilómetros o millas es ya cuestión del gusto personal o del país.Por lo demás, no tiene ninguna complicación pero sí he observado que cuando lo enciendes, pulsando MODE o lo apagas pulsando SET, no se hace ni lo uno ni lo otro en 2 segundos sino en 3. Al menos el mío que ya pensaba yo que se había estropeado.Otro pequeño punto a favor es que viene con pila y una especie de platito de plástico para abrir y cerrar el compartimento de dicha pila.

Es muy práctico y manejable para llevar. No es un anemometro de precisión de laboratorio pero es suficiente para deporte. Yo lo uso para volar drones y me es suficiente
