Rubbish
Beware of items with a no return policy. It's no wonder there is a no return policy on this item. The manufacturers know it's rubbish. Although I found it did aid my foot drop when I tested it, I realized that it was absolutely impractical to wear. Why? because of the plastic cutting into my heel which caused me pain and discomfort the moment i put tjhe splint on. The purpose of the item is to help you walk long term. Imagine how much damage you would cause your heel as that plastic cuts into your heel over long term use. So i tried to put a sock on before the brace. The result - the same. The plastic still cut into my heel. Conclusion: If you have foot drop and want additional foot problems like permanent nerve damage to the heel, this product is for you. Once again, Beware of sellers with a no return policy

Faulty
Had product for 6 weeks, very effective product although uncomfortable at back of ankle, now the plastic at top of splint, where strap goes through has snapped don’t know how this has happened, now unable to use, any possibilities of a replacement?

Drop foot support
Seems to work well but am still getting used to it. I can't use it on all shoes and boots so is a bit limited. Persevering though. Product good quality but stiff side on instep that digs into my foot with some shoes..

So, it's come to an AFO
Slightly nervous about buying one beforehand. Severe knee injury 2 months ago has left me with foot drop from what is quite possibly a ruptured peroneal nerve. Bad timing. I could not fulfill all my best man duties for my friends wedding but I at least wanted to be in shoes for his wedding photos. I was nervous about the sizing guide as it seemed a tad amateur - I'm a size 9 - one of the largest they do. But, I bit the bullet and ordered one.Sizes really are as advertised - first time I've ever been an extra large!! I would advise shoes with laces though. With limited muscles left in my leg/foot area, I had to force my foot into the shoe with my hands - so the extra space from laces was invaluable. The AFO is of a generic mold so was never going to be comfortable and even the finish round the edges is a tad slap-dash. I used some fine sand-paper to smooth down the edges just in case it caught my leg or damaged my shoes.I realise so far this does not make for a great read! HOWEVER ... the feeling of normality this gave me was priceless. Over two months since I have worn shoes or even proper clothes. I was able to walk around with the use of my walking stick and feel normal again. They are slightly restricting in your movement but I myself was not in a position to be running around! I appreciate the reasons people will purchase these will vary from case to case, but I can only comment from my own experience. I wore this from midday until 1am. I was a little sore and would definitely recommend socks!.

Good splint if you give him some sanding and put it on properly
The media could not be loaded. On first I thought it's crap because I didn't set it properly and tight it anof, my foot was still dropping. edges are sharp which can cut your hand when putting it on, I've cut my finger. . But it's actually very good splint if you give him a little bit of sanding and put it on properly. It's lightweight, comfortable, discrete and gives me flexibility when walking comparing to huge and heavy personalised one I got from HSE. It's also short which allows me to bend my leg and get up from floor in case of falling.Price is also reasonable. I Recommend it

Flimsy and not fit for use.
I bought this as my ortho app has been pushed back. So I thought anything would be better than nothing to provide foot drop suport. This 'suport' was not only useless as is, and needed several additions to keep it both on my foot, and suportive. After wearing for 30 mins, on my feet perhaps 5 mins, I was left with several blisters, lack of feeling on my ffot adding to the issue. Also, idk how other people have managed, but i didnt own a single pair of footware that I could use this with! Its in the bin, utter trash!

Great product
Very pleased with the comfort & Support this orthotic has given my foot drop. It not only stops my foot from dropping forward but also prevents it from dropping inwards and I can feel it supporting my instep as well. I mostly wear Fitflop size 38UK trainers and the small size orthotic (37-38 ) fits in them perfectly. Thank you so much.
