Pegasus PEG9008 Martian Figure Kit, Multi-Colour

The kit was an easy build, suitable for beginners.Well crafted with solid construction.The pieces fit together easily. Nice touch to supply two sets of arms which due to the construction material are easily manipulated under heat to individualise the pose. The hollow body was a bonus for hiding the lighting kit for the creatures/helmets eyes.Good raised detail to accomodate highlighting the veins. Again the detail on the base was good. If time and care is taken over the painting it looks great. For the price a good kit.

This kit has a rubber like feel, simple to assemble.

the martian stands about 6 inches complete, it is a resin maleable kit that requires CA glue though to be honest you can easily get away with only glueing the diorama pieces. construction is easy but fun and i did the following:- top half of martian push fit to bottom, choose arms for pose you like (there are two sets and as these are also push fit, can be changed)now its up to you how you paint but I used acrilyc paints. th clear face piece requires painting i painted inside with thin colours as i will add a cell led light, the outside frame i painted same as body then face pushes in. the damaged camera head and cable i painted copper and gloss varnished, two books (title bring a smile to those that get them) were painted and distressed. base is yet to be painted. experienced modelers will find kit easy but fun to detail, beginners will find it easy and forgiving with even a basic paint job probucing a nice display piece.
