03-24-2020I’ve had a similar alarm system that worked great but I left them out in the rain and they don’t work now. So I decided to try this design.I like the look of this design better and I really like the adjustable volume. They work great and the first day I used them, they alerted me to a 6 lb flathead (see picture).I took one star off because of the way it attaches to the pole. While it stays in place with the adjustable rubber strap, it will twist if you have a big fish pull on your line. I use an open face reel and when a big fish pulled the line, the alarm twisted on pole and the line came free of the alarm. I heard the alarm but then because the line came free from the twisting of the alarm on the pole, the alarm turned off. I’ve tried many different placements on the pole and they all do the same. Maybe this device is more designed for a baitcaster. Or maybe I can glue a rubber piece to the inside of the alarm so that it has a bit more friction between the plastic and the pole.

Work good except they are bulky for our panfish and walleye rods in the ice castle, so they take alot of tug to set off. Work great for eel pout and over night fishing for a wake up call, but not so much for other species that take bites. Wanted more so to notify when I had a fish interested in my line so I could pay close attention when stuff was going on and I wasn't jigging.

I will say this. I took my dad on a camping trip and he seen the way I fish with them on my poles. He was impressed and wanted some for him. I would set my poles, put the bite alarm on and go back to camp and wait for the alarm... they are fantastic.

These would work great as a home security system. Or if you had to leave your pole at the lake because you had to go home to get more beer... you'll hear it. The volume knob is a great feature on this. And the 10 extra batteries that are included are a breath of fresh air when it comes to Packaging. Haven't technically use it on the water yet but I can tell already I won't be disappointed

These are good for me because I wear hearing aids and can't hear fish bell.

I like this fish alarm as the volume can be adjusted. The alarm is place on the upper side of the rod preventing the line to hit the alarm if the reel is of medium size. I am recommending this fish alarm to people using two or more rods when fishing.

They don't work at all. Don't buy them. Tried to use them last nite and I've never tried something so crap in my life

Pensavo un pochino meglio. Pescare a fondo o a breakline non si possono usare. Quando la lenza è in tirare, come dovrebbe essere in questi tipi di pesca, il meccanismo non regge il peso Della lenza in tirare. Quindi suona sempre. Consiglio per altri tipi di pesca dove la lenza non deve essere in tirare.

Tut was es soll . Zeigt den biss an aber wenn einmal am gepiepse das wie ne Alarmanlage klingt ,hört es auch nicht mehr auf . Ich hatte keinen richtigen biss , nur einen kurzen Fahrer , leider springt die Schnur Halterung die feder nicht zurück so das es aufhört . Dank der extremen Lautstärke die man einstellen kann war um 3 Uhr nachts der ganze Fischerteich munter . Ohne Biss

Die Bissanzeiger funktionieren gut. Erste Tests waren gut. Sie können flexibel an der Angel Route montiert werden. Die Lautstärke ist einstellbar von leise bis superlaut. Man kann allerdings auch lautlos nur über die integrierte LED melden lassen.
