Works really well to suck up any fumes. I use it in my salon studio. I wish it wasn't quite as big, but worth using to be safe while doing Brazilian blowouts. I think it works best for during the flat ironing stage, during the blow dry it has a harder time capturing all the fumes. Clients have said it is a major difference to when they got blowouts in a salon with no extractor....with very little irritation. Easy assembly. Comes in a huge box, but was packed well!

Amazing, what a difference! I really don't know his we worked without this. The stylists in my salon use it as they do the keratin and the rest of us don't have to suffer from the fumes. Really a must have for every salon that does keratin and other chemical treatments. The delivery method was weird cuz they send it in two separate containers so be aware you get all the parts and clean filters weekly.

As a stylist I am exposed to chemicals daily. When smoothing treatments first came out I was so excited to give clients the hair they have always wanted. To my surprise however these product produced a fume that, though proven "safe" by OSHA standards, cause very severe sensory discomfort for myself and clients. I reached out to a couple of companies about air purifiers and "Salon Pure Air" was the only company to respond, and very quickly! I was able to speak directly to the owner and manufacturer of this system and within days received my machine.Stylist and clients: do not perform or receive a smoothing treatment without a source capture system! The directions say "use proper ventilation". A fan is NOT proper ventilation. You need to capture the fumes at the source and filter them with adequate filters, NOT an air purifier you bought at Target!The Salon Pure Air has saved my throat and eyes along with my clients health. If you want to do these services be smart about it and use proper ventilation, a source capture system!

I got one for my salon and it works very well but, later on the 3 filter has to be change and i can not find it. Very upset.

It works well. you can really notice the inference in the fumes not bothering the client.. great investment
