The best laptop for average use on the market in my opinion

A learning curve
Not something that I instantly liked, with much to learn about a dual laptop/touch screen and the operating systems. However pleased to report that after perseverance, I am impressed with its capabilities and versatility. Probably heavier than ideal when in tablet mode.

Best chromebook I've used.
HI quality chromebook with touchscreen. Android apps work well and are fast. I've used tablet mode a few times with no issues. Screen quality is great. Battery life is good too. Not disappointed.

Beware
I bought the original version of this, thinking at the price I was getting top of the range. And now - 2 and a half years later - it drives me mad with problems with the cursor/touchpad.. You hit something and whatever is 'underneath' is what happens. All the time. It only works if you can judge a blank space underneath the cursor. And who do you go to for a repair????????? This is a bitter thing given the enormous price. (and the battery life has certainly not held up)

Highly recommended
Good hardware and nicely built. Not quite up there with Apple Macbooks in terms of quality, but close. Very lightweight, on a par with my 10" iPad Pro, so very portable. The screen is a let down, the issues with contrast/brightness will annoy you if you're using it for anything where visuals really matter.
