Scotland's 100 Best Walks

Bought this to help plan a trip with my sister, who likes to walk and hike. It's been really easy to locate the right walks for the areas that we will be visiting.

The book arrived on time and was in good condition. The only issue I had was it arrived with a price tag on the front cover which was very sticky and left quite a sticky mark when removed. As it was a gift for someone it was a bit disappointing. The book is great, probably more of an interesting reading book for the walks rather than a true guide book, although all walks do have a route guide. Would recommend.

Cameron McNeish writes with great passion about the joys of the Scottish hills and mountains and the accompanying photographs are just beautiful. This book has encouraged me to return to hills that I have enjoyed in the past and inspired me to make the effort to travel to the more far flung corners of my country that I would otherwise probably have neglected to explore. It would also make a very nice present for retired ramblers and armchair enthusiasts.I just can't rate this book highly enough. It's fabulous. Buy it! Now!

This is a very interesting book with beautifully described walks. It is also very accurate and has given me a lot of ideas. I like the way walks are described from the authors own experience. They are a good read. I also like that there are walk summaries too, outlining route, distance, time and grade. For me, importantly, this also is clear on the access point as I always struggle to find the beginning of each walk and once couldn't find the beginning of the West Highland Way!

Very clear and concise with good maps

A quality book delivered well on time, but why oh why do you stick a price label on the front of the book where the adhesive will not come off.Sadly I won't return to this supplier because of a cheap tacky sticky price label.
