Needed a more accessible way to switch monitors and device off whilst also used by different people to plug in laptops. This 5 way adapter is ideal. Decent price at the time compared to others and with the integrated lamps per plug, able to see what is on or off at a glance. Also fitted onto desk and not had any issues with the buttons or power through the adapter. All in all a working piece of equipment and hopefully not have to worry about surge protection....so cannot say if this works yet.....and hopefully don't have to.
