Low cost, and it works... but that beep is annoying, 18 button pushes to get anything changed...
Very low cost, it is small, loud, and it keeps time. So if that's all you want, do it.But the beep is insufferable. Either it's too loud, or it's not quite loud enough. Not inspiring when you're actually trying to learn to play an instrument. Then, when you want to change something, you have to navigate like 5 or 6 clicks just to change one thing. Then if you accidentally cycle past the option you want, start over. Oh then accidentally shut it off. Wait, why is the stupid tap option going now? Meh. I'll buy a nicer metronome with better user experience. Yes, I'll probably pay more, so again - if you're going for low cost value, this works fine. Enjoy.

Big Things Come In Small Packages
At first look you think what is this little thing going to do.. But after you fiddle around with it for a few minutes looking thru it's functions you find out it's full protentional is really quite good.. I also like the clipping feature as well as it's lanyard capability... You can just clip it to your shirt or just hang it from one of your string keys for easy listening..... This little guy has a lot to live up to, but I think it will do quite well... For It's small stature and small price you can't go wrong...

Great Little Device - Prefer it to the Seiko!
Bought this to wear at an Ice Rink while practicing Ice Dance Patterns. In Ice Dance we skate patterns to certain tempo/beat combinations such as 138 BPM 3/4 time for a Dutch Waltz, or 88 BPM 4/4 for Rhythm Blues. You don't always have the opportunity to play music, so this can help keep you on time.I also bought the Seiko, and am returning that because the sound quality of this unit is far superior. The tone differentiation between the primary and secondary beats on this unit are far stronger than the Seiko. I also found the interface on this to be easier to use. It is really small, and probably weighs half that of the Seiko, which I think is a plus.I have not tried the headphone jack, but I imagine it will be useful if I don't want to annoy everyone at the rink!Overall, I like this and will be buying a few more for the club.

Super Mini Metronome!
I love this thing, and I'm a music teacher. It's itty bitty, but with a big voice. It uses one of the most common button batteries. They're not expensive. This little metronome is versatile with the ability to change all the settings very quickly. It will divide the measure from 4/4 to 9/8 while sounding out 8 different rhythm patterns. It has 3 volume settings. You can turn it down and practice soft tremolo finger picking, or turn it up and blow fortissimo sax licks and still hear it just fine. You can clip it to your collar in a noisy environment or to the music stand in a practice room, play as loud as you need and still hear the beat clearly. It's super easy to use. If it lasts, I'll buy one for every horn case and guitar case I own. For $10, I can afford it.

Tiny, but it works.
This unit measures one inch by two inches. You program it a lot like a digital watch. It has a clip on the back. You must supply a 2032 battery. Tempo varies from 30 to 280. There are optional beats you can program the beep for, and a red LED you can turn on for those who are deaf.

Decent for the price...
This is a TINY handheld metronome. I took one star off because the volume setting is NOT remembered when the device is powered off (and it takes 6 button presses to lower the volume) and the 'tone' of the electronic beep is harsh & unnatural. Otherwise, this device is super compact, easy to use, and affordable. The built-in clip comes in handy as well. Recommended...

I would buy again! Great for my needs.
Love the size, functionality, and price of the piece. Use it in physical therapy for rhythm with gait, clip it to the client's clothes. Just wish the buttons were a bit more responsive to pressure. Sometimes I feel like I'm really smashing down to get them to respond.

Only concern is the battery
We use it like 30 minutes each day. From June to October, I need to change battery. Do not know if this is the case. Overall it is a good metronome. Easy to use and very helpful
