Thrilling!!!
Helen Phifer dies it again! The amazing Morgan Brookes works through all the evidence in her own selfless way once again, not sparing herself from harm. It is a twisty, enthralling book and an excellent read done in one sitting because I couldn't stop reading! I am a self-confessed Helen Phifer addict!

4.5⭐
Detective Morgan Brookes is back, transferred out of Rydel Falls and with the team still reeling from the shocking events in Silent Angel. It's fair to say she and everyone around her is struggling. But when a call comes in to inform Morgans old boss and boyfriend Detective Sergeant Ben Matthews of a house fire. Morgan jumps at the chance to help out.Only it turns out there is more to the case than a simple house fire. As three bodies have been found inside, each with a missing limb. One of them a friend of Bens. And the case is made all the more shocking when the limbs are finally discovered. But who would want to kill this picture perfect family? That is what Morgan, Ben and the team need to find out and quick. But with little evidence to go on how are they going to find a killer who seems hell bent on vengeance. And with plenty of twists and a killer I didn't expect. This was a very enjoyable read. That was only really spoilt by the ending. Which semed a little abrupt. But I do love Morgan and can't wait to see what she gets up to next.I would happily recommend Their Burning Graves to crime fiction fans everywhere. Thanks NetGalley for the opportunity to read Their Burning Graves. 😊

Unputdownable
My goodness, what a helter-skelter ride. That's what it felt like as I turned each page.Helen Phifer's storytelling never ceases to amaze me.DC Morgan and her boss DI Ben are not only joined at the hip workwise but also in their private lives. A family of three has been murdered and Morgan, Ben, and the team are on the case. Is this revenge killing? The team is on full alert and hopes they catch the killer before it happens again.5 ***** from this happy reader and desperately hoping that the next in this series won't be too far away.

Wow, what a great mystery!
All kinds of twists and turns. I couldn’t read this book fast enough. Lot’s of clues but so much to try and solve. Throughly enjoyed. I will be reading more of this series. Love the long cast of characters. Author is obviously from the U.K. so for an American like me some of the words and wording were a little confusing, but didn’t take away from the story in the least. I recommend this book.

Another excellent story
A digital ARC of this book was provided to me by NetGalley and Bookouture. The opinions are my own and freely given. This is #8 in the Morgan Brookes series. This story starts in 1991 at a nightclub. The musics pumping, the drinks are flowing and the bodies are dancing. Then one of partiers leaves and a traffic accident ensues.Fast forward to present day. A family is murdered, a neighbor is questioned and the street busy body makes a friend with Morgan. As I went through this book, I forgot all about 1991, until about the same time that Morgan started to connect the dots. The team gains a new member who sees to calm Amy down a bit. This is another excellent story in this series. I highly recommend reading them all.

guessing game
This one was a guessing game, the killer is referenced as they throughout the book and there was a crazy turn at the end. Where I have guessed the killer in the last books, I had no clue in this one. Great read.
