EAKAI HDMI Audio Extractor, 4K x 2K HDMI to Optical Toslink SPDIF Digital Audio Splitter + Analog L/R 3.5mm Jack + UHD HDMI Video Out [Support 4K HDMI 1.4]

Works ok as 2 channel but unable to get 5.1 to work. Tried everything but Dolby light never comes on. Shame as I only got it for 5.1 sound. Tried contacting the seller to see if there is anything else I can try but they have mot bothered to reply after a week.

This works very well with my Sky Q mini and Panasonic GT30 TV which is unable to make sense of the DD signal from the Q box and output a 5.1 signal to my Sound Bar. Fitting this unit in series with the HDMI input to the TV and using an optical cable to my sound bar I can at last set Q to 5.1 instead of Stereo.My only complaint hence 4 stars instead of 5 is the slightly sloppy SPDIF socket. My optical cable fits quite tightly into other device optical; sockets but the one on this extractor is a loose fit which is not ideal. A better quality SPDIF socket would not go amiss.Overall though a rather good product.

Did not work! HDMI passthrough to TV works but does NOT split the audio which is the whole point of the unit! Tried connecting it to various devices and it didn't split any audio from any of them!

I bought the wrong soundbar for the setup I had, it was hdmi arc but got it for a great price. This allowed me to convert from hdmi to an optical input which the soundbar also accepted. All works like a dream.

Works ok - but power connector does not fit the socket will - moving it interrupts power

Works perfectly with Amazon firebox and gives you an spdif output for dolby 5.1

Works well, easy to install. Perfect if you are using analog L/R inputs for you amp. Used with a Samsung UBDK8500 4k Blu-ray players which has a dedicated HDMI Audio output specifically for analog amps.

Does exactly what it is supposed to. It is good quality and does not feel like it is made out of poor quality materials. I am very happy with my purchase 😊
