The ends are really pointy so you can pick up the tiniest things with them the same way you would use a set of tweezers. And if you have a scissors sharpener these will last you for years. The only reason I had to replace mine was because I lost my pair somewhere and tried just getting on with my other scissors but found I really missed my bee cutter so much I just had to have another one.
