Loom Maxi

This is a great loom and easy to use once you know what you are doing, I had to google how to set it up as I am a complete beginner at weaving.

Excellent loom for price.perfect for tapestry and small projects and sampling. Arrived ready warped with yarn. Very portable. Heddle ok after you get used to it..but you can buy or make other types. Nice size.

This is not an easy to use item on a flat surface moved around ,as you pull the weave thread through.Plus one of the stand legs broke off,so I had to tie it on just to be able to use the loom.No instructions on how to use it either had to use videos from YouTube to see what to do.

Love it! But could have done with a few instructions. Had to rely on YouTube.

I was in two minds as to whether to buy this product after reading the reviews on the smaller version on Amazon, but decided to take a chance. What I can say is that it will do the job I want it to do but it's by no means perfect. The stand posts are not secure and keep falling off. It will probably remain standing as you work but as soon as you move it the posts fall off, I will have to find some method of securing these myself.The construction is sturdy enough and it's a nice looking loom, the fact that the top and bottom bars aren't fixed (they turn by use of a wingnut) is good as it means you could potentially make an item longer than the loom itself. The shuttles supplied are fine but the inclusion of a comb to beat the wefts would have been helpful, although it's easy enough to find one or use a fork. It's nice that a basic heddle bar is included, however, although it works after a fashion, the spacing between the alternative warp threads for the shuttle to pass through is not huge and the bar and threads need to be adjusted after every other pass through. The absence of any instructions for those who are completely new to weaving is also noted.I did think about returning the loom as I know I could get a more substantial one for not a lot more money, but I like the size and portability of this one, which is why I've given it three stars, and with a bit of creative invention can probably make it into exactly what I want.

I really liked this loom at the beginning since it was my first loom to try out. I liked the size and i did two great project with it, but then both of the supporting legs to make the loom to stand up broke of. Since the legs were supported by smal wooden dowels it wasn't as sturdy as i thought. The legs were flimsy and would bend outwards, and eventually the wooden dowels broke of. I would prefer if the dowels were replaced with something more secure like the metal thing you can twist to make it not so flimsy. (sorry I don't know the word since english is not my first language) If you prefer to weave with the loom laying on the floor or a table this could work for you and the price point is great for that purpose, if that's what you're looking for.

Je me mets au tissage et c’est un régal avec ce métier! Le fil de chaîne était déjà monté et le travail était commencé, je ne sais pas si c’est un produit neuf du coup. Mais pour m’entraîner à faire les points c’etait Bien utile. Je trouvais cependant que le peigne ne tenait pas bien et faisait sauter les fils, mais une fois que j’ai bien tendu le fil de chaîne le peigne à bien fonctionné.Je suis ravie de cet achat, il est bien pratique de pouvoir le faire tenir droit sur une table et les dimensions permettent de réaliser des projets variés.Il paraît solide.Une petite notice ne serait pas du luxe.

Perfetto per le mie creazioni di quadri e nn solo. Facile l'uso anche se la stabilità lascia un po' a desiderare comunque da consigliare viste le dimensioni e il costo comoetitivo
