Good for snacking
I bought the steakhouse flavor, and found it a little too strong for my tastes. Next time I think I'll try the Naked flavor.I recently started a low carb diet and these are great for snacking during the day. I often skip breakfast, but some mornings will snack on this at work.No mold on mine like others have commented. After opening keep the package sealed, or transfer to your own small ziplock bag and you'll be fine.

A bit pricey, but awesome quality
High quality. Absolutely delicious. Grass fed beef, no 'flavors' (except a bit of salt). Small, softer pieces that don't yank out your teeth when you try to chew them. The biggest 'problem' I have is trying not to eat a half a bag in one sitting.

lots of little bits and pieces
Doesn't taste very good cold. I refrigerated after opening since they said it doesn't keep. But the flavor was underwhelming regardless.

Puts Beef Jerky to Shame
I hate when sugar and sweeteners are added to things. Beef jerky always comes off as sweet or some flavor added to it. Biltong has a wonderful flavor of just good smoked beef. It's still pricey in the US compared to South Africa but when more folks discover it, the price will come down.

Good Biltog - but greasy
I'm used to strips if meet dried ... they are very flavorful. Unfortunately, this is shredded and greasy.

THE BEST BILTONG...Better than Kalahari brand Biltong!
Let me start off by saying that I'm a Biltong connoisseur. I recently order several brand of Biltong to try them all and determine my favorite, the clear winner was Brooklyn. I have ordered and tried just about every brand of Biltong on Amazon as well as many other brands I've encountered at stores, my absolute favorites are Kalahari and Brooklyn. The only differences are that Brooklyn slices of Biltong are slightly thicker and it's priced much better than the Kalahari brand. Brooklyn Biltong uses quality meat, you actually get slices, whereas other brands give you Biltong dust/shavings, the original is super flavorful, and the flavored ones are delicious too. After opening it stays good/fresh for quite awhile....not that it lasts very long in my household. It's priced at about $2.50 an ounce whereas he Kalahari brand is about $3.75 an ounce.

Lazy, disgusting, and lacking flavor
This product is a disgusting mess. Biltong is dried as an entire piece of meat then sliced thinly. There is a bit of oil that is produced when the knife slices through some of the fatty parts of the meat. This product is oily beyond comprehension. It is covered in oil and it completely lacks any distinction between the outer layer which is exposed to the air and forms a slight crust around the whole piece of meat. The inner portion of biltong should be a slightly lighter color like a salami instead of this dark brown piece of turd. This provides a sharp distinction between the extremely thin crust which has a stronger flavor due to the herbs on the outside which contrasts with the mellow but beefier flavor of the interior.Aside from being disgustingly covered in grease, it also has a slightly bitter aftertaste that covers up the natural beef flavor. It's obvious that they have no idea what biltong is. I fed the rest of it to my friend's dog.
