They say always get an original because copies are not as good. Well in this case its not true. My Canon cap kept on falling off at the slightest touch. This one is perfect ive tried to pull it off and it stays put, it only comes off when you press the clips. So its far beter than the Canon one. Well worth the money and I would buy again. considering the Canon is a lot dearer.

They fit the lens fie. The lens is long enough that it can reach from the camera all the way to a 200mm+ objective. Only minor flaw is that the lace doesn't let the cap to sit perfectly on the lens. However it is a very minor flaw, and you can use the cap without lace if that bothers you

Lens caps with a "center [American spelling] pinch" design are so obviously more sensible than the more typical design that I don't understand why all lens caps aren't made this way, at least for lenses which also accommodate hoods.

Prompt delivery. item as expected. True, the cords were not attached as shown in the picture but I found it no problem to thread the cord and tie a knot to hold it in place and have been happily using the lens caps on my Canon EF and Tamron lenses ever since they arrived.

I lost my camera lens cap so got these as replacements. Now I have two - and they came with string so I can attach them to the camera and hopefully not lose them again.

A much simpler to handle lens cap than the original. However, that said, these don't click into place easily so that you are never 100% sure of a good grip. However, they are very cheap so you are not going to lose much if one drops off.

Prompt delivery. The string not as long as I thought it would be, i thought coild attach it to the camrra as stop me losing the lens cap again. But for the price can not complain.
