Not only good for covering frying pans but great as a cake cooling stand too. As the handle folds it's easy to store this.

Great product, sits on top of frying pan well, needs to be cleaned regularly to limit smell from captured spitting fat or oil.

Not as versatile as it seems.Big enough for the largest frying pan but not very practical for small ones

There is nothing worse than frying something which spatters all over the cooker. This Splatter screen does exactly what it is designed to do or at least 97% effective - just the odd spatter gets through. It is well made and in spite of being large does fit in the dishwasher. The folding handle is great and helps to store easily. A good buy I believe.

I bought this to replace a mesh screen splash guard that is diffucult to clean. Whilst the screen is easier to clean it is just too large to be used on the hob with other pans. It will be fine for use with my wok but not realy practicable for use on smaller frying pans when other utensils are being used on an adjacent burner.

This splatter screen does the job well. It sits easily on pans of different sizes, protects the hob from splatter and protects the pans from any flies in the kitchen. It’s also robust and very easy to clean. Full marks!

This wonderful invention arrived today so I haven’t had a chance to use it yet but can’t wait! It’s a great size and the added feature of the foldable handle makes it easier to store flat without taking up too much space. Well done OXO! You impress once again!

This is great value for money and a handy bit of kit if you're tired of cleaning fat splatter off your hob every time you fry something. It’s definitely improved the functionality of my kitchen routine – I get much less mess without needing to change how I cook.There is one small downside: the solid metal with relatively few holes traps steam in the pan, which can cause food to steam instead of fry if you're not careful. A design tweak with more perforations would really help. In the meantime, I just leave a slight gap at the edge – that gives me proper frying and still keeps the splatter contained. Bonus: it lets the smell of steak escape into the kitchen without the greasy mess.It’s a good fit for larger frying pans, and the foldable handle makes it easy to store. It’s easy to clean too – folds down enough for the dishwasher, but also quick to rinse in the sink.A solid option for reducing cleanup while keeping your food crisp. Would recommend, just be mindful of the steam issue.
