Amazon Essentials Women's Classic-Fit Long-Sleeve Lightweight Plaid Flannel Shirt

I love this shirt so much I have 4 of them now. Light weight 100% cotton flannel, perfect for layering under a leather jacket or puffy for kids soccer games, a trip to the grocery store or a casual dinner with friends. If you're looking for heavy duty flannel for farm work, snow shoveling or fall camping in the pacific northwest (Pendleton style) this isn't for you. Living in the PNW this shirt is exactly what I was looking for and I can wear it from fall through spring. It's versatile, looks great with jeans buttoned up or open over a white tank, tucked in or not. Standard fit but it will shrink over time especially if you use the dryer (normal for 100% cotton). I stick it in on medium for 15 min to get the wrinkles out but hang dry the rest of the way. Using a laundry bag for washing helps it from collecting lint from other things garments in the load. If you're going for a relaxed fit and are between sizes I would go with the size up-especially if you have a larger chest or long arms. I'm 5'4 and 170 lbs with a pear shape and 36B chest and large works great for me, but if my chest was 36D I would probably get the little peep hole between the buttons after it shrinks. If you're debating on purchasing just go for it! The red tartan pattern is perfect for Christmas time. :)

This is the first time I have purchased any of the Amazon basics clothing. I was a little hesitant but decided to give it a try. The two blouses I ordered are a little bit large on me, but I was going by the recommendation that Amazon gave me. However, I am not displeased with them and I am impressed by the silky comfort of the material against my skin. For really cold weather, these would be slightly on the thin side, But for moderate climates, layering well, or being in a warm space, these are just fine. These blouses also seem to be well constructed. I know I will wear these often.

I love most Amazon Essentials clothing, and I really love this shirt! While this is NOT a flannel shirt, it's a good quality cotton shirt that has a nice drape to it and is not sheer.I'm 5ft-3in, and my measurements are 36-29-36. At my height, this shirt hits me just at the top of my thighs/mid rear. I purchased a small and it fits me perfectly. It's neither tight or loose.I think I could have even purchased an XS for a more "fitted" look, since I always wear a white tank tops underneath, so I'd still be able to wear it even if I wasn't able button the second button.I purchased the black/white, gradient/plaid and plan on getting other colors later on.Although it's not a "fitted" shirt style, it doesn't look sloppy either. (It doesn't look boxy and shapeless on me.) This shirt is made with good quality fabric that is soft, but doesn't appear to fade or shrink after washing.I wash it in cool or warm water (regular or gentle cycle) and either hang up to dry, or place in the dryer on a low setting. When immediately pulled out from the dryer after it stops, it requires little to no ironing.The shirt itself looks polished with no sign of wear (I've worn it several months so far, and the colors haven't faded and the fabric looks the same as when I purchased it). It can be worn tucked-in with business slacks, or casually untucked with jeans.This shirt is perfect for spring or summer weather because it's a nice cool cotton. The fabric on this shirt is not thick, it's not see-through, and definitely not thin. It's just a nice quality fabric that drapes nicely and doesn't easily wrinkle.It has a very flattering fit. The seams are nicely sewn as well. It looks great, keeps its shape and color after washing, and the fabric is nice and soft. The pattern, colors, and texture have a good quality to them.I'm very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend. I'd like to get several more colors later on!

I know several reviews have complained about the fit, but I found that it fits to size. It's nice and soft, and I believe I will enjoy wearing it. It is not a heavy flannel, so if you live where there is really cold weather you would definitely want to layer I think. But I am pleased and have ordered a second one in a different color.

I’m 5’2 and 100lbs. I bought the XS and it fits perfectly!I was nervous because other people said the shirts run small. I figured I’d try the XS anyway and just return it if it didn’t fit.Pleasantly surprised that even the XS fit me exactly right.The shirt is soft and good for layering.I’m going to buy more now that I’m sure of the fit.

I really love the try before you buy option. This shirt is soft and comfortable. It's on the thin side, but still warm. I wanted a warm shirt but I'm hot natured, so need something not too warm. They wash well, I washed mine in cold and dried on a low setting. Overall a very nice addition to my wardrobe.

Lovely plaid nice fit but the material is thin for a cotton flannel shirt and not cozy at all. Still it is a nice shirt & I like the fit so I'm keeping it.

Will use as regular button down, or as overshirt. Don't buy for warmth - it's not there. Thin cotton material, a soft casual for me.

Material was thinner than expected, but it's still quite soft and not see-through. A bit snug around the waist and hips, so tends to ride up a little when sitting but ok across the shoulders. I would imagine a larger busted lady might struggle doing the buttons up at the front though. Still good value for money - bought it to wear when working from home, so it's perfect for that. If it was more expensive I would have definitely sent it back though.

this product doesn't have enough fabric behind the buttons to cover your chest - there is a gap; it's so cheaply made the manufacturer hasn't ensured there's enough fabric where the buttons join - my underwear and chest is always clearly visible. so shoddy.

Very comfortable fabric. Not thick but not thin either. It will be great even in warmer months with shorts. Fit is exactly as described. I am size 12 and bought M. It is more fitted rather than oversized. So, if you are larger in the chest area get size bigger. Or if you prefer loose fit in general. Colour wise, ot is slightly darker than on the photos. I like it.

Fits a little big but I am small and most clothes are the same .I am a seamstress so I can alter it. Nice soft fabric and comfy to wear. Washed well. Every wear over leggings or jeans. Good price. Would buy another .

The shirt fits well, is comfortable and the fabric - as described - is not brilliant but a fairly good lightweight flannel. I would have given 5 stars, but a button fell off when I first tried it on. Easy to sew back on, but irritating.
