Good quality item that fits its purpose
I was afraid of buying this. But overall, the item is well made and fits its intended purpose. My son was able to practice counting with it and proportions. It has two sets of the rods, and the box is very useful to carry the items around.

These rods work well and look good. They have held up well so far without any paint chipping or peeling.

Positive for lead
Unfortunately this tested positive for lead. Would not recommend for safety reasons obviously. Would have been a great Montessori mathematics tool.
