ok.. well what can I say.. bought this to stick in the cupboard under the sink.firstly.. charge it... then... Press the button once for the sensor or twice for it to be permanently on... (it flashes 3 times not twice as it says on the box.. just saying not complaining.. it is self-explanatory to be fair)So far it's been stolen by the daughter to put in her room as a lamp when painting her models.I think that we will have to get another couple of these to go round the house.. and in the van.The PIR works great. it senses people walking past and lights up with a light that is really bright.It's now managed to migrate from the daughter's desk to sit above the cat bowl in the kitchen so that we don't have to leave the light on for the cat when he has his food. the sensor works and the light just comes on and we don't have to get up.can think of so many uses for this.. like in the van, etc but even better... its rechargeable so unlike the ones we had before where the battery died and then we found had leaked (so the whole light went in the bin), this thing should last a fair old while and be cheaper on the pocket.Comes with a nice magnetic strip for mounting it wherever also.. so easy to fit.Press the button once for the sensor or twice for it to be permanently on..Would recommend..

I've lined my garage that has no power with these and they work perfectly. Only when light is low, they turn on and provide enough light so my garage is fully usable.

When I say not too bright, I have put this up in my porch where you do not want harsh lights or you can't see for being blinded. It gives off a good amount of light, has a good reaction time to movement and is easy to operate. I would not rely on the magnetic strip as it is not overly strong but this does depend on your surface. Bit thin and tinny, not the most robust but is doing the intended job well

Bright enough but even using motion sensor function they don't last more than a day! Not as stated, also adhesive pads not strong enough and have fallen off our units several times.

Just what I needed in my alcove, easy to fit and easy to recharge, gives of nice light.but sticker isn't great it fell of wall after few days.

While the lights are easy to recharge and the magnetic mountings have been fine, unfortunately 1 of the units only lasts a few hours whilst the other 3 have now gone 2 weeks without recharge on PIR setting. Overall has done the job, just a pity about the glitchy one.

I'd bought and returned a different, similarly priced, set of rechargeable motion sensor lights and wasn't sure whether worth trying again, very glad I did.Needed to light from bedroom to back door via the stairs. Strategically placed these 4 lights light the whole way and respond quickly enough to have lit the stairs before they're stepped on. Light at the top of the stairs is triggered by dog at bottom and vice versa. Completely different league to the other set I tried.Bright enough that I'm trying them on dimmed setting tonight.Haven't yet charged as arrived with charge, simple to do via usb cable supplied

When I opened the packaging and took the lights out I thought these were really light and plasticky that I thought they were not going to be any good. Well, I was very wrong with that assumption. These lights are excellent and have 40 separate little LED lights in each unit that when they come on you can't tell that they are separate lights and it looks like just one lovely daylight white glow coming from them.I have attached a few pictures, where in one of the close up pictures you can see the separate LEDS - and that's jut to show you the separate bulbs. In the rest of the pictures you can see the nice white light coming from them and also show what they look like when they are off. I put these up under my cabinets in my study / bedroom and they are ideal for that as when I get up at night the motion sensors in these turn the lights on automatically as soon as I get up and go anywhere near the units.The reason why they are made of this light plastic material is because as they are so light (in weight) you actually stick these up with very thin magnetic pads that come with them. You could pretty much stick them up against anything that has any metal on it, as long as you stick the magnetic part of the adhesive pads to the actual casing of the light itself.As you get 4 in the pack I think this makes them great value for money and I would definitely recommend them for similar uses to what I have used them for, or even inside a cupboard or unit.
