Wavebird Style Wireless Controller replacement for Gamecube Nintendo Wii by Mario Retro - Silver

The design looks very similar and feels the same as an actual wavebird controller, the buttons have little input lag, and the range of the signal is decent. The biggest problem I have with this controller is the sensitivity on the analog stick. It's too damn high. I tried playing smash bros for Wii U with this controller, and while I'm at the character select screen, I try moving the control stick very slowly to the left or right, and the cursor just jerks way past the character, just like if I'm using a D-Pad, and even that's easier to use than this. In game, I don't even move the control stick with much force, and my character just dashes left to right. It makes it really difficult to play games like this where you have to be precise. I'm used to a wavebird controller that makes you dash when you TAP the control stick, not when you move it very slowly. That is why I'm only giving it 3 stars.

After playing it for 3 days the left joystick would not work properly anymore. The avatar of the game would often move foward or backward even if I'm not touching it and when you do move it in the direction you want it to go, it doesn't move. Why can't there be a good GC controller like the original?

I understand this is a retro product, but it has stopped working correctly. So disappointed. The character takes on a life of its own twisting and turning. I don't know how you can list this item as works good. I didn't know you meant only for a week.

The controller looks like the original platinum gamecube controller but the wavebird is lighter so it makes it feel less premium but you get ust to it. The con is that it does not allow the rumble feature on the controller which I actually really enjoy and takes away from the experience a bit. But, do to the wirelessness and the reliability (doesn't disconnect unless your rough and bang it around) it's definitely worth the purchase. (:

Original controller we received had a couple of issues, specifically issue with Luigi's Mansion. However, support contacted me and sent me a new controller. This controller works across all games that we are playing and works great.Great controller, add that wireless to retro gaming. Even better support and customer service.Thank you!

Not manufactured by Nintendo but a solid replica of the original Wavebird controller. Does not have a channel selection option on the reciver, but is otherwise close to identicle mechanically as the Nintendo counterpart.

These do not work as well as the gray wave bird. They auto connect but also auto disconnects even while using them. Disappointing.

I am sending both of the controllers backwe had trouble with one from the first it wouldn't respond. Then the second one did the same thing.
