Draw-Tite 36554 Class 2 Trailer Hitch, 1.25 Inch Receiver, Black, Compatible with 2013-2022 Buick Encore, 2013-2022 Chevrolet Trax

Perfect for my 2018 Buick Encore. I researched extensively as I wanted a class 3 hitch (w/ 2” receiver) which is not made for my vehicle. This class 2 (1 1/4” receiver) is very study and works great for my Küat EV 2.0 bike rack. Arrived fast. Box did have a small hole from frame poking through box, but it didn’t cause any damage. Manufacturing packing could be improved to prevent this (I don’t blame the seller). U-haul installed it for me for $43. Saved $60, got it faster, and got this far superior class 2 hitch instead of getting an inferior class 1 part from U-Haul.

Needed a way to carry our 2 catrikes but my car did not have a hitch. Purchased this one and as described in other review it was a booger to put on. If you don't want your husband to be in a bad mood you can take it a shop and have them do it. It took him a couple of hours. Part of the problem is one location on the car that a bolt goes seems to get clogged up with dirt and stuff. That is not the products fault but it seems one of the issues a lot of users are having.

The receiver arrived in a box that was fairly adequate to protect it. Can’t expect too much when shipping an awkward item as it is.I watched several YouTube videos to familiarize my self with the install. Best hint was to hang the exhaust on a strap!The installation was quick and easy, with the bolt tools included. They were invaluable!The job took about an hour. The receiver looks great in place and sits far enough under the car so it is not a shin biter, but it is still easily accessible when it is needed.This was installed in a 2017 Buick Encore.

Well built. A little chipping of the coating occurred during shipping, but nothing a little touch up couldn’t fix. Easy intuitive installation. Find the install video on their site! Step by step demonstration. The only thing that disappointed me was there was no longer a 2” receiver option. Too many yahoos trying to over tow the capacity assuming the wrong class for the size opening I supposed. Got an adapter for my 2” accessories and am back in business.

A well made, solid, precisely fitted product. Watch the video on how to use the fish wire first and you'll have no problems.Bizarre packaging though. It came loose in a foil bubble-wrap bag. Even the UPS driver commented that he had never seen anything packaged like that before. Luckily, the product survived the journey without a scratch.**Note: Make sure you have a deep 17mm socket for the installation.

Hitch was not packaged at all for shipping, no box, no wrapping, nothing. All the parts for installation were in a plastic bag just taped to the hitch bar. Naturally the bag was ripped but luckily all of the parts were still there. However there were numerous scratches and paint chips due to there being no packaging.The hitch itself is great, installed easily and seems very solid and sturdy. I would give the hitch 5 stars, but I'm taking back two stars for the lack of packaging.

I got this hitch so that I can add a bike rack to the back of my car. I initially received the wrong hitch from Amazon. Packed it back up and received the right one from my car by the next week. It fits and I'm happy. It's made me fall in love with my car just a little bit more.

Suitable for hauling our little travel trailer. Very easy to install and comes with everything you need. If you don't have a torque wrench, next time your car is in for service, have them check the 4 bolts for proper tightness.

The hitch arrived quickly with all the needed parts. The install is straight forward. The only issue I ran into was since the car is 4 years old ,the one M12x 1.75 bolt hole was rusted and I had to run a tap through it to get the bolt in. Great hitch, now I can cart my bike around. I recommend this hitch.

I went to U-Haul for installation to make sure it was done right, it looks great and is well hidden. I have no worries about carrying a4 bike rack,full or pulling my pop up trailer. Tongue weight is 300 lbs and that is plenty
