Extends phone usage
Every day towards late afternoon / early evening the phone has to be recharged. The 1st time the phone shuts down due to no power will show how useful it is, which always seem to happen at the worst time. Now, due to this battery case, power will last for a few days before charging again. After sliding the phone in, it looks like many other cases. Having battery pack has been very useful more than once during long travel days. The only way to make it better is to have a kick-stand.

Doubles the usage time of the S8+
I really like having a usable extra charge with the Galaxy S8+. I used to be nearly out of battery after 12-14 hours of use, but with this Battery Case, I can be at full charge at the end of the day. The case and phone charge wirelessly, but the usb is a better way to charge the phone and case.

Heavy and bulky, when dropped could increase damage to phone.
I have been using this for one year now. It has worked fine until now. Before I could plug the charger u and the phone and the battery would charge. Now when I plug it up my phone says it it will take over a day to charge. When I take the case off my phone will charge within an hour or so. Another drawback is this case is heavy and bulky. So when you drop your phone, and everyone does, the phone will drop faster and hit harder. My phone now has several cracks across the screen I believe are from using the case. It does provide the extra battery life, but now I have to charge it separately from the phone. I will not buy another one.

Difficult to insert phone without damaging USB port
Like every other battery case I've seen, you have to angle the phone in to get the usb port onto the adapter in the battery pack. I worry that repeated use will damage my phone USB port. I wish someone would design a battery case that charges the phone using the Qi wireless capability (this case charges via wireless charging, but it does not charge the phone using wireless). Samsung phones can charge each other this way; why can't a battery pack?

Super long lasting and light weight
It's exactly as advertised. I was surprised by how little it weighs relative to how big the battery is. It lasts a long time and is very well designed.

The extra power I need during the day
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. My phone was reaching 40% by noon. Been using this pack and my power problems are gone. +easy to handle, protects the phone AND looks good. Totally recommend it.

Does not wirelessly charge
I attempted to use the wireless charging and it does not work. When I had my phone in the battery case and put it on 2 different wireless charging pads the charge indicator on my phone would come on for a second and then go off. I don't know if it charging the case but it is not charging my phone. I ordered this one for that specific reason.
