On the coast of Venezuela nestled high in the mountains there is a village founded by runaway slaves. The name of their village, Patanemo, is derived from "paz tenemos" which means, "we have peace." Two families farm cacao of the highest quality in the community. Patanemo stands out for its complex comforting flavors of apricot, floral jasmine, cashew, coffee and caramel that evolve as it melts in your mouth leaving a long-lasting chocolate finish.
