Cheap appearance, but durable
The case consists of a softer shell that you slip your phone into and then a harder shell that snaps around it. There is no screen protection other than the raised edge of the softer plastic.It fits the iPhone X very snugly. Coming from the Otterbox Symmetry, the Griffin Survivor case fits better as I would notice some give and gaps between the rubber of the Otterbox and the phone's screen over time. That said, while the case fits the phone well, there are very small gaps between the hard shell and the soft shell, but that's the nature of the case design.The hard shell is extremely unimpressive and has a glossy finish except for the corners where it is matte. I think it would look less cheap if it were completely matte, but that's my personal taste. As it is the case slides easily in and out of my pocket, but not as easily as the bare phone.Overall the case works and I don't doubt that it can withstand the average drop so long as the impact doesn't focus on the phone's screen.

Got this for a great price and quality is amazing. I always buy from Griffin and they haven't disappointed.
