Perfect stud spacing!
This worked really well, pipe junctions hit studs perfectly! Nice looking handrail. Smooth surface and feels quite stable.

Second set purchased
We have a long steep driveway and put first set of seven railings on the fence along the drive. Building another fence, and the second set of four will go on that. Takes two people to attach them properly but easy to put together. So study and good looking.

A simple safety measure
Going down our basement stairs became, as we aged, an increasingly daunting task. Balance and tripping were worries. This handrail was an inexpensive and easy solution. Our primary concern was the amount of weight it would bear, but the supplied anchors seem surprisingly strong. The 4-foot rails (we installed two) were not difficult to install if you took your time and planned the process. All you really needed for a stairway rail was a three-foot level, a chalk line and a drill. I deducted a star because no instructions were included, only a list of parts. For a product intended for the DYI market, a clear and succinct how-to sheet would have been reassuring.

Excellent quality & easy installation
We were thrilled with how easy it was to assemble the handrail. We selected this handrail to replace the original handrail (45+ years). After we removed the old handrail, the new one was easy to install. Once installed we found it to be strong and a perfect replacement. The fit and finish is perfect. We highly recommend this product.

Sturdy and handsome
Our existing handrail was decorative, but not sturdy enough to bear weight, and as we age we need more than a touch for balance, we need weight bearing handrail. I was afraid we would sacrifice style for substance, but these handrails are quite handsome- the matte black finish is neutral and attractive, and they are very sturdy.

Easy to install, strong handrail
We installed the handrail on our stairs going to the basement. The installation was easy and the end result is strong and reliable. I was able to connect to studs on two of the mounts, but even the one mount that used only anchors is strong and stable.We are very happy with this handrail.
