Great headboard, well made, looks even better in person, easy assembly, excellent value
Great bed, great value. Bought Full size for my very picky and stylish college daughter. Also bought the Tuft & Needle mattress. The pair are fantastic and she couldn't be more pleased. I would gladly purchase this again and highly recommend it.Caveat, I have put together about 50 of these self-assembly furniture pieces, so I would not consider myself a novice.Shipping was fine. Its a 10 inch thick box that weighs 98 lbs, so keep that in mind for logistics. I ended up unpacking everything and then loading into my car for easier transportation prior to setup. This way two independent people could carry it to the upstairs room rather than needing two very strong people at the same time to do so.Assembly was a breeze. We finished in about 45 mins. I used a power drill with a 4mm bit clutched to 5. Thank you vendor for using single size bolts (4mm)! I highly recommend using a power drill with clutch to save a ton of time. Or at least buy a screw driver with replaceable bits so you can use a 4mm insert and not the mini one they provide. It will work, but you will have very sore wrists at the end of the day. None of the bolts stripped, nor did any of the nut seats come loose. All holes were perfectly aligned and I didn't have to modify any pieces. Only had to hand-tighten 4 bolts due to not bringing my right angle bit driver. Hardware was clearly marked, and had all the parts for assembly. However, the last picture indicated that there were 4 slip-on feet, but they were not in the box nor in the parts list. They didn't seem all that necessary, and not critical enough for me to call about it. Vendor might want to clarify this in future directions. Additionally, all parts except for the screws were clearly marked for assembly. However to verify the screws in each step, I had to verify the screw letter on the step page, and then go back to the beginning parts list to cross reference the screw ID to the screw size. Vendor might want to just add more descriptions on each page for exactly which screws to use so the cross-reference isn't needed. I also suggest a single picture in the beginning before starting assembly that shows in detail where every screw goes. But at the end of the day, the assembly was pretty obvious.I want to comment on previous mentions of the T-Bar issues not holding their weight and bending out. I inspected mine and they were the same and certainly sturdy enough all but the largest behemoths. However, they were designed to take vertical weight, not horizontal shear stress which clearly shows in the detractors' associated photos. I believe this was due to the bed being dragged rather than lifted when moved. Its not heavy at the foot once assembled, even with the mattress and bedding, and can be easily swiveled at the foot as long as its lifted first. However if it is pushed, especially on rug, I can see how the the feet would catch on the rug and run into shearing problems. Same issue for the legs, which were very sturdily bolted onto the frame. I thought it was nice that they installed the feet in a way that I could easily replace the legs with others without any issues. Regardless, lift before you move and you won't have any issues.

Sleep well
What a great bed, and not for its price alone. I bought this along with a Leesa mattress to sleep on while my master bedroom was under structural repairs, intending to grin and bear it and if it survived it would be relegated to the guest room. I love sleeping on it so much, I plan on buying the exact same thing in a queen size once the room is finished. This one will go in my sewing room and serve as a lovely place to sit by the window or take a nap.Assembly time I'm unsure of, as I had to do it in stages due to physical limitations. But it was easy and straightforward. I got tired of the little Alan wrench and broke out my screwdriver that has the proper bit shaped to fit these screws. I vacuumed all the cloth, only because im fussy about things due to allergies and not because it needed it. I like that it can be taken apart for moving, though it would take some time to remove all the slats and unscrew the center support.I could not find a weight limit for this bed. One site said 250lbs, another said 450lbs. Regardless, I'll assure you it's very sturdy and can hold a lot of weight without a hint of strain. The instructions say not to jump on the bed, likely that's not good with any wooden slat bed. It certainly could take the weight of a parent sitting on the side of the bed tucking in a little one. I'm quite heavy at the moment from a medical condition, so I crossed my fingers this wouldn't collapse, but it truly is a strong bed. The bed doesn't wiggle, it's just solid and I feel comfortable sitting on the side without worrying something will snap. The fabric looks high end, though it is just a rough polyester. The tufted buttons give it a very nice look. It looks padded, but that is just for looks, don't expect the headboard to be luxuriously squishy. the feet are plastic, but look nice and are not very visible so they do actually give the appearance of wood. When I attached them I angled them so they are fully under the corner brackets, thus the weight of the bed isn't resting on just the middle of each foot as they would be if you squared them up. I think that actually looks nicer. And the tufted buttons on the footboard make the bed look even nicer. With a 10" memory foam mattress on it, it's not terribly low. It is a lower profile bed, but is still a reasonable height. I'll include a measurement if I can ever find my tape measure. I might move up to a 12" mattress when I replace this with a queen size. My old mattress was a double plush Stearns and Foster, and frankly it was always too high on the old bed frame. But I do think ideally I'd like a couple more inches of height on this bed and that can easily be achieved with a different mattress or even a slim profile foundation under the mattress.

Looks good, easy one person assembly, no men needed :)
I am a bit mixed on this bed. It will not be subjected to heavy, daily use so I a may be fine. For the price it looks pretty good and has a reasonable amount of storage underneath. And ladies, yes you can put this together just fine without any need for a man...always a plus. This is a one person job. The bed itself seems sturdy enough and looks good. It gets delivered to your front door but it is heavy, so I just opened the box and carried it in piece by piece and the box went in the recycle bin. Again ladies, no need for a man.The drawers are very light, unbelievable. Each panel, sides and bottom are a lightweight metal frame with a plastic panel attached, literally, this plastic is the same weight as a pendaflex file folder. I have never seen anything like this before. the front drawer is the fabric over particle board with a thin layer of foam in between. Now I would not consider over filling or filling with heavy items. Very light duty construction, but it will do the job. The drawers are a slight bit tedious to assemble because they have about 80 allen head screws, which are very close to the frame so it is slow going, but not hard.Overall I would give it a 3.8. The pluses are no need for a man, one person job, looks good, and priced nicely. The down would be it can't probably be broken down and reassembled again and the drawers probably won't last if you rough or careless.

Waited 3 weeks for shipment. Received manhandled.
Orderd April 3rd, received April 27th. A bit of a wait. Product was dropped off in driveway leaning against house, package was manhandled and packaging was ripped exposing the velvet. Pictures displayed.I brought the bed frame inside. And assembled it with no issues. There wasn't any damage to the product, and everything looked great once assembled. Tidius assembly. But doable for 1 person. Instructions are clear. The drawers do not fasten or close naturally into the unit like a dresser drawer, it instead rolls in and out on your floor, free floating and wobbly.Product was great. Just a long wait time for shipping, and a horrible experience with UPS. Merchant needs to understand their products are likely being damaged during the delivery process to their customers.
