Read it today - be happier with your colleagues tomorrow!
When I first saw Jon Kjaer Nielsen talk about happiness at work at an ISPE seminar in Gothenburg in 2012, I was amazed by the enthusiasm and knowledge about the subject that he displayed on scene. Now, reading the English version of his book, it is clear that the same enthusiasm and profound knowledge was used when writing this book.100 tips and tricks for all levels of the organization. They are all well researched with documented success from companies around the world. And best of all, they are described and explained in a straightforward way, that makes you think - hey, this is not so difficult - I can go to work tomorrow and do that!It is written with a sense of humor while maintaining professionalism. You just want to keep reading. One more - one more - until you reach tip number 100!Read it, use it and get a happier workplace - I cant wait to get started myself!

This will change your workplace experience for the better (if you let it ) :-)
I was introduced to the Danish version of this book a couple of years ago by the author Jon, during a lecture he was doing at my workplace. Jon is a bundle of energy with an abundance of fantastic ideas to help change your workplace experience to a better one. This book has some wacky, amazing, different and useful hints on how you can get started on changing your workplace environment. Already after just implementing a few of the suggested ideas in this book, you will start to see changes and you are (if you implement some of the wackier ideas) guaranteed a few laughs with colleagues as a side effect. I highly recommend this book as a tool when working either on improving your own individual workplace situation or when you are in a position to help improve the workplace situation for others, colleagues and/or friends.

Many old school employers don't treat their staff's happiness as important
Many old school employers don't treat their staff's happiness as important. "Just get the work done and receive a paycheck!"This is a mistake that competitors who read this book can exploit by focusing on helping their employees be happy. Because happy employees work better, are more productive, more creative and have longer retention. Just look at companies such as Zappos or Buffer. There are lots of ideas in this book in short chapters, so it is easy to dip into it for new inspiration. I love the cartoon images that start each chapter too. Clearly the author had a lot of fun with the book.Time to get happy at work!

Insanely practical book that should be mandatory for all workplaces
Jon is a leading authority on the topic of workplace happiness. When someone has committed themselves to a topic and researched it for years, they sometimes end up writing well.... academic books. This is nothing like it.The book consists of 100 tips and tricks that you can use today to create a better workplace environment. No you don't have to implement 100 new things, if you just do one thing every week, I guarantee you your workplace will change to the better.I truly enjoyed the book and if you are a leader of people (or have aspirations about doing so) in your workplace, I would call this mandatory reading.

Unique book on workplace happiness: Practical on three levels: Personal, culture and management perspectives and suggestions
Practical and useful tips. Usually this kind of book is stuffed with tips for employees, which makes them dubious from an orgniazational performance perspective - how can you improve happiness and productivity if management doesn't take action? This book is unique in that it is not only practical, but adresses not only your happiness, but also culture (your colleagues) and gives plenty of suggestions for mangement (bosses and boardrooms). Highly recommended!

The guidebook for YOUR business
Jon has written another great book, this time framed as more of a buffet that you can take at your choosing than a one size fits all description. The tips are fun to read and really got my creative juices flowing. As a small business owner I can't wait to implement some of these ideas in order to make my business a better place to work.
