New York Bucket List Adventure Guide: Explore 100 Offbeat Destinations You Must Visit!

I bought this for someone who doesn’t really need or want anything, has limited time off from work but likes to travel. The book is a good size, easy to read and covers lots of interesting places to visit around NY state.

I guess I didn't read the fine print but this book is about the entire state is New York. Almost everything pertaining to the city is basic info almost anyone would know to look for. Overall, a little disappointed. Also has exactly zero photos for reference. Get on Instagram and you'll find better tips.

Would be amazing if the book had pictures. But on the plus side, you could look these locations up or don't spoil the surprise-> just show up.The book lists a lot of cool spots to visit in New York. I'm surprised there's no mention of PIZZA which is one of the big things New York is known for. But you'll probably find some nice pizza spots in some of the locations.Food would probably take this book even further. But asides from those qualms, the locations of the sites are provided, some tips to get the most enjoyment out of them, and even the price points of each place.If your looking for some neat spots to explore in New York, pick this up.

Terrible. No photos, no maps, unimaginative text. And the few sights for New York City are nothing you won't read about elsewhere. Returning for a refund.

I've always wanted to visit New York and it's on my plan for next year. The book provides a lot of details on places to visit and even how much it costs to go to each place. Definitely recommend this for travelers.

This book is not what I expected. Was looking for a New York city guide book. This provides a list of attractions for New York state. Very plain, no pictures. Provides description of attraction, hours/best time to visit, fees, and address.

I have to admit I rushed a bit to buy this book before a trip to NYC. I was guided by the high Amazon ratings. Lesson learned. As another reviewer pointed out, this is a guide to New York State, not that you could tell from the front cover which features a photo of the Manhattan Bridge from Brooklyn.The contents are basic. No photos, no maps, just a brief description and a couple of other rudimentary bits of information - although it does include gps co-ordinates which may be of use to some.Avoid this one if you are only heading to NYC. In fact, just avoid it. It’s overpriced for what it is and I’m at a loss as to why it is rated so highly.
