This seems to be a quality cat-sized carrier. I found the amount of zippers it had initially confusing, but now they kinda make sense because the folded up extra fabric is sandwiched in between the soft panel and the outside panel. This is not only better looking, but practical with animals that get bored or excited while in their carrier and like to attack things like netting (totally my cats). I wish there was some way to secure the soft panel to the side again when it is open too. That is my only issue with the carrier. My cats dig and pounce on the rumpled fabric because the possibilities of what could be under the folds is just too enticing apparently!I have been also using this for my rats when I need to clean their cage. The rumpled & loose soft spots again are just too much for them to handle, lol. They tend to chew stuff like that (although they didn't their first use) & try to make a cozy nest from the layers. Again, if this section was somehow secured flat and didn't have the strange spots where it is pushed up from the side from the other zippers, that would make this 5stars for me. Just as a warning to other rodent owners, my rats also chewed at the zipper at the opening where they were put into the carrier the 2nd time I used it with them. They actually chewed through my last small pet carrier specifically meant for rodents, so I don't fault the carrier for this, rather I have determined they cant really spend much time in there at all if I am not specifically watching them (or if they are in a car traveling they seem nervous enough to not behave this way, so I worry less then).If the fuzzy fabric had velcro or some other means of securing it to the floor, this adjustment would make this carrier perfect for me & my multiple animal uses. My cats are larger and this seems roomy for them even with the sides up.

I bought this carrier about 6 months ago and had used it 3 times prior to taking my cat on an airplane for a cross-country move. Until the plane ride, I thought it was fine. Spacious with the sides unzipped. My cat seemed comfortable.With that said, don't use this carrier on an airplane. Or anywhere else where you need the cat to truly be secure. There are wooden rods in this carrier to help support the carrier when it is unzipped, which I discovered the hard way. One of the wooden rods poked through the mesh of the carrier and allowed my cat to escape mid-flight on a cross-country flight. After the embarrassment of retrieving my cat from between the screaming passengers' legs, I had to hold my cat for the remaining 3hrs of the flight since there was no way to repair the hole and I had no other way to restrain him. Since this wasn't the last leg of my flight, I also found myself clinging to a terrified cat through SeaTAC desperately looking for another carrier to purchase so I could get on my connecting flight. Side note, you can buy a new carrier from most airlines at their baggage claim counters. You will pay a pretty penny for it.This ranks up there as one of my most embarrassing moments in life. Save yourself the risk of becoming a viral YouTube star. Buy another carrier.

Overall a fantastic pet carrier.There are plenty of options to allow for the pet to see outside, which keeps my cat calmer than being in a box.The expandable compartments are cool and lets the pet feel less cramped.There are zippers everywhere for many different kinds of modifications and entry/exit of the pet.Comes with a blanket and collapsible cup which I haven't used but seems very convenient.You can carry it via either handles or over the shoulder straps.Seems sturdy/good material, cat tried to dig her way out but quit pretty quicklyMuch cheaper than the carriers I saw at stores.The floor and walls are covered in a type of material that is very soft and probably comfortable for the pet.

I bought this for my 21 year old crazy cat lady sister in law for Christmas. She recently got her own apartment and has all of this guilt about leaving her precious Rosie at home with she's across town visiting family. So enter this pet carrier.First off, the thought of her being able to take sweet old Rosie with her was enough to *****5 star***** this bad boy. But once she calmed down, she was able to actually give an objective review of the thing.*"It's AWESOME!" <---not objective but still important*The bottom padding is fur-lined which is good because she would expect nothing less for her adorable Rosie.*The padding is also washable which you'd expect but some carriers don't have.*She loved that it came with a travel water bowl. I'm not sure how that works when one is actually carrying or moving the carrier but that's beside the point.*She did note that it fits her car perfectly but if you have a chunky cat, it might not work as well. Plus, shoving a fat cat into this carrier might be more trouble than it's worth.My sister in law was super pleased with this gift. Now she and her cutie pie Rosie can travel together forever.
