Wonderful book with lots of fun experiments. My 7 year old is loving this book already and it is great that most of the experiments have things we have around the house. Highly recommend!

Great experiments

My mom bought this as a Christmas gift for my 8 year old son. The first day we had it, he wanted to do at least 3 experiments. The instructions are clear, it's easy enough to find what is needed around the house, and the results are cool! I took it with me to watch a friend's children for an afternoon and we did *five* experiments (my favorite was making plastic beads out of milk...who knew that was possible?). The kiddos can do much if it without adult assistance, and they really can't get enough of this book!Update 07/2020: A blessing during coronavirus lockdown!!

The jumping coin and egg experiments were by far my favorites although there are many engaging and easy to implement activities both at home and within classrooms using everyday materialsRecommended- would be enhanced with photographs
