I've only used this on hard, dense wood and have been able to saw tenons and other straight cuts. Performed well.

You have now found the tenon saw you always required but didn't know which one to buy. If you have never bought a tenon saw before, then start with this one. Its rigid and keeps you true with cuts. It has fine TPI (teeth per inch) so helps you start a cut smoothly and with accuracy. It has an ergonomic and comfortable handle. Its tactile feel is of a quality sound product. It is well balanced. It will give you a an excellent and clean cut of your material. It comes also with a blade cover. I would recommend this product for anyone from a novice and upward. Enjoy.

The first one I received was little bent and I immediately got a replacement. As good quality tenon saws are hard to find here in India, this was like god send to me.

Quality hard-point saw with a longer blade than many tenon saws (350mm, 14"). It has very little set to the teeth which gives a narrow kerf and helps it follow a straight path easily.Blade 0.71mm thick, kerf 0.89mm, set 0.09mm.The handle is reasonably comfortable in the hand and has an attempt at a recess to allow your index finger to lie straight along the blade to help steer it accurately but this isn't long enough even for my smaller than average hands and isn't shaped to properly contain the finger so it's really more a styling gesture than a useful feature.If you buy, hopefully yours will arrive quicker than mine which travelled from Denmark to Spain and Belgium before getting to the UK!
