Elecwave HDMI Switch 3 Port HDMI Switch Supports 4K PIP 3D SPDIF with IR Remote ARC 3.5MM Audio Out

This is a great little device. It does everything that I need and looks great too. However, sometimes the remote can be a little finicky and on occasion the audio extractor functions are also a little finicky. I've had to play with the different functions switching back and forth between the 2 channel and 5.1 channel options, disabling and enabling the Arc function in order to get sound to come through my speakers.The PIP function is pretty much useless. If you could change the size of the PIP screens or just do split screen then it would be functional.

Pricier than other options at the time I bought it by about 50% but I feel it was worth it.Build quality is very good. The metal case is tightly put together and the buttons don't feel too cheap when clicked. The "ELECWAVE" logo on the top is slightly chipped in places but that's a minor nitpick.I use this to switch between 3 sources (PC, Macbook Pro, Super NES Classic) and it switches between them quickly and without issue. I have not seen any issues with video quality or any configuration issues such as screen resolution. The output is to an Acer LCD monitor.I am also using this to extract the audio from HDMI. I usually have the Toslink optical output connected to a audiophile-quality DAC. I also tried the 3.5mm output jack out of curiousity and it works surprisingly well - it sounds clearer and has a much lower noise floor than the PC's onboard Realtek ALC662. I did not try any audio formats other than PCM stereo (e.g. 5.1) so I can't comment on if or how well that works.Remote is fairly straightforward, although the "2CH" and "5.1CH" buttons actually mean they switch between the 3.5mm jack" and Toslink audio outputs.12/4/17 update: still pleased with the HDMI switch. Just noticed that it will switch to an active source automatically if the currently selected source is turned off. Previously I was using my monitor to switch between HDMI inputs which would take nearly a minute to rotate through the different inputs.

Works well for the switch function. However, my need was for its PIP function. I bought it based on the promotion image where the 2 PIP images are quite large; not so with the device I received. Is there a way to increase the size of the PIP image, just as in the picture?

I bought this mostly because it was an HDMI splitter with audio extraction that didn't look absolutely terrible. The video works great and it seems to switch flawlessly between video formats, but the audio is absolutely terrible. If you hook a device up to it that doesn't have adjustable audio such as a Roku, any sort of louder sound will sound absolutely terrible and distorted. I have to have my PC, which is also connected to it, set to 50% volume to avoid the issue and instead control the sound with my PC speakers.I wouldn't recommend it if you are ever planning on using the audio extraction feature.

This product is wonderful eliminating the need for me to plug my aux cable into the bottom of my game console controller. This product does as intended and sends audio from HDMI to your desired destination. All you need to do is use and auxillary cable for audio and connect the device you want to pick up the sound.

I bought it for my family room TV. This HDMI switch work well, it also come with remote control. Highly recommended!!!

Bought for the picture in picture, but can't really see it it's so small.
