This switch works flawlessly.
I use this every day, all day. I'm using it right now to type this. This doesn't degrade the quality at all, and it works perfectly with my monitor, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Wii U / Xbox(s).This device works with only one thing plugged in, and also automatically switches to the newest item to be powered on. For example, I never turn of my PC 24/7. If I drop my Switch into its dock this will instantly switch over and display that console rather than my PC. If I remove the Nintendo from the dock, it will go right back to the PC again. In the event that you have both or all three things powered on at once you can tap the little button on this device to select which video source you wish to view.Really there is no way to improve this item in my opinion, and I love the removable HDMI cable.

Unfortunately, worthless.
Unfortunately, worthless. Claims to support 4K however anytime I have a 4K source connected the screen will flicker every 10 seconds, if I switch that source to HD, I will then lose audio. The device rarely switches on its own. I’ve tried it with virtually every device I own and they total of 19 and that is no exaggeration, 19 different HDMI cable’s and not one of them made any difference. When I had my PlayStation four and Xbox one S connected, every time I would turn on the Xbox, it would trigger the PlayStation four to turn on and the source would switch to that. Even if I turned off the PlayStation, I would have to manually switch to the Xbox in which case and less I change the output to 1080 the screen would flicker every 10 seconds. I then tried this with my Nintendo switch and my PlayStation four pro. I could never get a picture on my PlayStation four, whenever I would turn it on, the input source would change however there would be no video, same issue multiple HDMI cable’s. The only thing that did work was anything that was limited to 1080. My Nintendo switch would work on it’s own, Connected to one of the ports, however same issue with turning on my switch would been trigger my PlayStation four pro to turn on and switch the input and yield no video in which case I would have to turn off the PlayStation four and in this case it would then switch to the Nintendo switch. Even the switch would occasionally drop out video and I would have to turn off the system and then turn it back on and go through the same process again just to be able to play it. I bought two of these unfortunately I ran out of time to return the second one thankfully it was an expensive but it was an absolute waste of money.

Works well as advertised.
Purchased this so we could have multiple consoles hooked up to a single hdmi input. Running a Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Nintendo Wii U off of a single port and having the switch auto flip when you turn on the console you are wanting to use is a nice bonus. One sort of frustrating aspect of this hdmi switch is if you are using one console and another is accidentally turned on it will auto switch to the new signal even though the previous signal is still active, but what can ya do. It was worth the purchase and will get another if the need arises.

amazing
love this so much. it switches automatically based on which ever device you've turned on most recently. if I have my laptop plugged in, then turn on my gaming console, it switches to the gaming console.

It's okay, but be aware of how it works.
Works fine when it has enough power. Requires all three devices that are plugged into it to be turned on. Really annoying when I'm watching something on one device and one of the other devices goes into power saving mode and the screen goes blank. Plus, it's a waste of electricity to have the other two devices powered on when they are not needed. If this suits you, then go for it! If not, then look for a type of switch that has it's own power.

Automaticly switches to the “on” device
When only one of the three connected devices is turned on on the switch will select that one so there is no need to push the button to select it . This is a great feature .

What separate this product from its competitor is that the pig tail cable can come off (I have a desk mounted monitor which has all the cable tucked away, so this product is perfect) and the auto-detect input is always great. The problem is that it doesn't work with my Mac and PS4. It will work for a bit but keep losing signal. I tried to order a replacement but it seems to be discontinued, which is never a good sign.
