Choosing the side outlet helped out venting in a huge way. Far better than the other options out there. The kit is OEM quality and worked perfectly!

This side venting kit, which says it works for LG dryers beginning with DLG seems short, not sure if this is the same as the official kit. Duct B ends flush with machine, infact it is just a hair inside the machine; it is possible to attach flex to it, prior to sliding it into place, or an elbow or another piece of 4 inch duct to extend it. You can also use the original duct that you removed from your dryer, that one is longer and will give you an attachment point (see third picture), but it's very long for tight spaces, and you may need to cut it down. Would have been nicer if this kit just made Duct B, 3 inches longer for a perfect install. As always just be aware that some further customization may be needed for your particular situation and you may be better off just go into the hardware store buying some 4-in duct and an elbow and making one of these overly priced kits yourself.

We wanted to side vent our new LG Washtower and figured we’d try to DIY. Very easily able to install, attach and seal. All accessories (including tape) were included. Recommend!
