Fibrogauge

The product image is not what you receive. This I knew from reading other reviews. Truly false advertising, but there are no alternatives I could find with a real decent search on the internet. Amazon needs to tell the vendor to correct the advertising as it tarnishes the trust we all have for Amazon and I hate to see Amazon become Amaxon.I bought two because also other comments claimed it did not work or leaked, but I have found with pool stuff poor quality is just a part of the industry and this is an example of it looks like an economy model. I figured out of two I would get one good one. Turned out the first one worked just fine. It is easy to read and the pressure reading match what I had with the old Hayward original one which simply had a needle that was stuck until you tapped it several times.The two came in a box much larger to hold the two. There was NO PADDING in the box so the two bounced around and you could see there was damage to the packaging for the gauges. No telling if damage to the mechanism inside, so I was very apprehensive about removing the gauge I was replacing with a potentially damaged from shipping product. Fortunately the gauge worked as I have said.Rating 2 is probably correct due to the risks the listing provides - false advertising and poor shipping packaging. I gave it a 4 because that was how I felt about my personal experience. Hey unless you can find an alternative, the price is low enough to buy two to minimize the risk.

This continues to work after 2 years, but it has "recentered" itself, and there is no clear way to recalibrate it. So, at zero pressure it reads about 27 PSI, which means I get to do a little math every time I look at it. Am reeplacing it with the DuraChoice 2-1/2" Liquid Filled Pressure Gauge and see if I have better results.....

Gauge reads the pressure correctly. I am disappointed that the clear plastic cover is not sealed adequately & has allowed some moisture (rain water ?) to get inside & form water vapor condensate to form on the plastic cover's inside. This makes it harder to read pressure & may eventually result in premature failure of the gauge. Would not buy product again. Originally purchased 11/30/13.

I bought this pressure gauge to replace a defective gauge on my HRPB30 sand filter. It fit perfectly and seems to be of reasonable quality. It has worked flawlessly for the last week. The original gauge on the sand filter lasted only a year and a OEM replacement would have cost over $40.00. If I get a year out of this gauge, I'll be well ahead. I keep an empty tuna can over the guage to keep the sun off the dial.

I installed this on my older hayward cartridge pool filter. I wrapped the threads with teflon tape and screwed it in. Works perfectly. The numbers have begun to fade a bit from the southern California sun over the past few months.Can't beat the price.

gauge is working but water (rain) is coming inside. not good sealed. therefore hard to read the water pressure . otherwise works ok.

Working fine over 1 month now. Rain gets under the glass a little.. Reads 4 lbs. less than my previous 2 meters, no big concern.. Fine for my needs and price..

Was ok but it felt a little cheap in craftsmanship, I used it cause I had to.
