I've tried many, many products of the same kind but this is the stand-alone best of the lot. The candy-layer is not too sweet and is thin enough that one can taste the actual flavor of the nuts in this confection. Other companies layer the candy so thickly as to overwhelm the light, elegant flavor of pecans and I think I know why: Either they don't know any better ans/or they're trying to disguise the inferior quality of their pecans. Virginia Diner is different and produces many fine varieties nuts and nut-related products; try them all!

Yes they are a bit spendy and yes they took a while to be delivered but they are worth it. Savor each nut, FYI ours had a “best by date” almost a year out from delivery. I remember relatives making similar nuts 60 years ago for kids treats. Wife and I just looked at each other when we opened the can, she didn’t know they were coming. These are only for ourselves when we feel we deserve it.

This 16 ounce can of Virgnia Diner brand Butter Toasted Pecans have an addicting taste similar to pecan pralines. The mix of sweet taste (sugar butter) coupled with the ample size of these Virginia Diner brand pecans give a satisfying treat. However, even with the pecans being a decent serving size and I having received them just yesterday at least half ot the pecan amount in this 16 ounce can is already gone (I placed the rest of the delish pecans in a specific spot/place of my living space to restrain myself from eating any more today).

I previously ordered these and they were very good. I reordered again and they tasted terrible. I checked the date and they expired 4 months ago. It says it is non-returnable so I am stuck with paying $30 for something that tastes terrible. Do not order from them as they obviously don't have a problem with sending out expired products to customers. Obviously a company without much integrity

Not much flavor. Hard; marconas should be more tender

I could not taste any "Buttery Glaze". Pretty disappointing to say the least. Now I know. Thank you.
