They r great bits do a great job

The original grind is not that great in that the edge is not as durable as it should be. After regrinding it by hand on a white alum oxide wheel, then quickly stoning it, I drilled 48 holes into 1/2" thick A36 plate and it held up great. RPM was 750 and coolant was used

I was adding a Currie Suspension lift onto my Jeep and the new track bar required drilling the frame side mount out from 1/2" to 5/8". Rather than buy a Milwaukee or Dewalt bit that is made in China I decided to get this American made bit.It did not last 1/4 or the way before it snapped in half. Tried to use the remaining part of the bit, but it just was chewed up before it could get through.I ended up using a Milwaukee bought from McCoys that cost a couple of dollars less to finish the job.I had registered the bit for the lifetime replacement and mailed it in about two weeks ago for replacement. Nothing has arrived yet.My low rating is due to the bit being extremely brittle and the lack of a speedy warranty replacement. Should the warranty replacement arrive in the next couple of days I will upgrade the rating.

Drilled 4 holes thru replacement receiver and trailer frame. Used ample cutting oil and low speed on handheld drill. First hole was slow, last one went fastest. seemed to get sharper with more use.

Very good product! drilled I don't know how many holes in 1/2 material for a tool I am making. Best to step up holes with smaller bits when using a bit this big. Lifetime guarantee doesn't hurt either.

This product wasn’t worth the valve as advertised. I am drilling holes in 1/4 plate steel. I pre drilled my holes with a 1/4” smaller bit then drilled with the 5/8s., while using cutting oil. The first four holes went good and I thought this was gonna be a good bit, then number five....it just stopped cutting! I hate to say it but these are junk, and I’m disappointed in an American made product. Keep shopping....there’s better bits out there. I’m not wasting my time with returning this with their warranty. I’ve just learned an expensive lesson! I wish had a zero star feature.

Excellent. Works as well as a more expensive drill bit. A little cutting oil and it went right through a pair of lift arms for a tractor. I would definately recommend this drill bit.
