What a wonderful way to start the morning! I gave up drinking tea when I left India decades ago, and switched to coffee. Several years ago, I switched back to tea following a lengthy course of antibiotics. Unfortunately, most tea in the United States comes in tea bags, which typically contain finely ground tea that rapidly loses its flavor. Even most of the loose-leaf teas available here lack aroma, and have a weak flavor. Not so the Royal Jaipur, the only one of the Indian Splendor teas that I have tried so far. The fancy bag contains a sealed pouch, and when I opened the pouch the aroma hit me instantly. The brewed tea was strong and smooth, without the bitterness produced by some black teas. The pouch itself is an interesting container. It appears to be made of a non-porous fabric and pulling the two strings at the neck seems to seal the opening. I hope this means it will help the tea to retain freshness. In any event, it does make these teas attractive gift items.

The tea came in a wonderful embroidered bag . You could smell the delishiousness right through the packaging . I made a pot right away . This tea is excellent, fresh and delightful . I highly recommend this tea company . I will be ordering as many teas from them as possible .10 stars
