Jabra Evolve2 True Wireless in-Ear Bluetooth Earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and 4-mic MultiSensor Voice Technology - Microsoft Teams Certified, Works with All Other Meeting apps - Black

This is my second pair of Jabra earbuds. Both pair were purchased specifically to use with Teams after having compatibility issues with AirPods, Bose NoiseCancelling headphones, and a variety of other plug-in and over ear headsets. These were bought to replace a par of Jabra Elite 5’s that accidentally went through the wash. The Elite 5’s were listed as Teams compliant and worked well but I would have delayed connectivity issues when first answering a call. Once connected, those worked well but it was a long 10 second delay. In replacing them, I wanted a pair with a USB adapter due to resolve the issues with the Bluetooth only Elites and delayed connections. The Evolve2 work seamlessly with Teams. If I am receiving a call, I can put one earbud in and it will answer the call automatically. I can hear the caller, and the caller can hear me. I have been using these for over 6 weeks now and have had zero issues with Teams calls. The ability to answer calls and to mute and unmute with the earbud is a very nice feature when you step away from your desk. I initially set these up to both my work laptop and my iPhone where I also have Teams installed. Because some of my incoming calls would default to my iPhone, I ended up deleting these buds from the iPhone.

I have tried several brands and styles to use at work and have found these to work the best. They provide great sound quality, comfortable, easy to use, and switches from the office phone to a Teams call without difficulty. The noise canceling feature is perfect for being in a busy office.

This device is claimed to be certified for teams and designed for PC. However the nice cancellation of Teams doesn’t work with teams. Instead of canceling the background notice it is canceling my own voice during the teams call. And with noice cancellation off it captures all the background noise and others can’t hear my voice.

The sound is amazing, these ear buds work better than previous generations. These are also 100% compatible with MS Teams, unlike other models. If you need to talk on MS Teams, these are the ear buds for you. The little connector works great because it pairs the ear buds automatically. I recommend getting these with the USB-C connector as most mobile devices (Android & iPhone) use USB-C. Anyone who works on laptop each day should invest in these. Another great feature in this device is the ability to use a single ear bud, this goes a step further allowing you to use either right or left ear bud. You can use the right ear bud, and once the right runs out you can use the left while charging the right ear bud; this was not possible on other versions or models. I love the sound quality and ability adjust bass, or other audio settings.

Noise isolation when speaking did not work well. After numerous tests, background sound was picked up when speaking in meetings and calls including, keyboard typing, clicking, and other external Noise.

After 2 or 23 weeks of use feel can comment on these. First off my use case is for Teams on my laptop almost exclusively and I use the dongle to connect. With that use case in mind, they work very well. Easily able to switch between the PC or phone when both connected. Note that they only disconnect from the laptop when you pull the dongle (several times had them out and tried to join a call with no audio until I realized what was going on…100% user error). I leave the dongle on the laptop all the time and no issue connecting when booting up. They aren’t the most comfortable but stay in my ears. Went to a smaller ear tip so not fully isolated but couldn’t stand hearing myself when had the full isolation on the bigger tips. With the anc turned on still pretty quiet even with the loose seal. People report no problem with my voice quality and don’t get complaints of background noise but havent used in a loud environment yet. If you want wireless buds for teams use on a pc, these are your product. No screwing around with BT settings etc. Plug in the dongle and good to go. Want good sound for music for your phone look elsehwhere as this isn’t their intended use.

I bought this product because I needed a wireless, in-ear solution for meetings. These are great. The sound quality is very good and the built in microphone works well. I had a wired headset with a boom mic that was a hassle. This allows me to get a drink of water or whatever else without being chained to my desk/computer. Because these sit in your ear, they function to also block noise out better than on ear or even the old style circular ear buds. They come with a set of 3 different sized ear pieces to get the best fit. The adapter is a USB-C and you just plug it in and leave it. It's relatively small so it doesn't interfere too much. I would buy this again.

I've really enjoyed Jabra earbuds over the past several years but I'm struggling to fall in love with this model. I had previous model that I lost somewhere/somehow. These seemed to be a logical upgrade and I was also attracted to the functionality geared towards Microsoft Teams. Here's what I've learned after two weeks of use: 1) They don't work as advertised with Microsoft Teams. Might as well strike all of that marketing language from the advertising literature. 2) Connectivity via the 390 antenna is spotty. 3) While using Youtube, they will inexplicably stop rendering sound and require a quick return to the case/reconnection. 4) I cannot adjust the volume on devices remotely with the pushing of buttons. If you attempt this, you will pause the audio and have to go through the situation above. Now for the good: 1) The sound for music and calls is excellent. 2) It takes less than a minute to setup and connect. 3) The fit (via the included ear cushions) is excellent and really helps seal out extraneous noise when used with noise cancelling. UPDATE: Do not buy these if you constantly switch between multiple Bluetooth devices. You will get a call on a connected phone which will disconnect you from a video call/audio session on a computer constantly. This will result in a repairing ritual that will drive you nuts.

Edit: March 23, 2024, Jabra support helped me get one of the issues resolved so on windows machine when the laptop goes to sleep the USB port also goes to sleep and this causes the issue of me having to unplug/plug the dongle for the windows to detect the dongle. On windows there is an option where you can set that the USB port not to sleep which resolved that issue. After this I would rate these buds to 4.5 stars. Intro: I used to use Jabra 85t and 85h for work, but they were not consistent and sometimes kept disconnecting from the laptop. yes, they do work when connected, but during a meeting call with no reason, they drop connection and restart. So I was in the market to get a decent headset for work. I mostly work in a quiet environment using Windows laptops and an android phone Samsung S24. I originally purchased the Microsoft teams type C version which worked fine but I hated that I could not higher or lower the volume from the buds, I didnt like that the right buds buttons are locked for teams and I understand that this needs to be done for the buds to fully work with teams like answering calls, or opening teams …etc. So I decided to return and get the UC type c version. PROS: - Call quality is good now I am not sure how clear it is but I used them for 2 weeks on back to back calls with no complaints at all, used them for windows MS teams calls and phone calls The UC version works great with teams and allows volume control. - mute/unmute mic directly from the buds - battery is amazing and if you are low on battery you can use one of the ear buds and charge the other and it takes 10 mins to give you a descent charge for the rest of the day. The sound quantity is great. I do prefer the sound quality from my Galaxy Buds 2 pro because Bud 2 Pro seems to be more rich, but the Jabra are still great and balanced. If I had to choose one I would go with the Jabra because they are great for personal and work while galaxy buds 2 pro they are perfect for my phone but not really meant for laptop windows (although there is a windows app and it can work but battery and consistency of the connecting and controls is not as good as the Jabra) - during calls, it creates a nice block of noise around you that keeps you focused on the call while you are still aware of the surroundings. I do work in a quiet environment, no dogs, no babies crying, or people talking beside me. I can walk far away from my desk, and the connection is really good Multipoint connection between phone and laptop is amazing and fast. I can use either buds left or right if I want to. The adapter is amazing. I connect all my Bluetooth devices to the adapter. That way, I dont have to switch Bluetooth if I want to switch between devices. The adapter allows to connect to any brand, not just Jabra devices. - amazing comfort, but they can get my ear tired after multiple hours of use. Taking a few mins in between helps. - hear through is really good and natural compared to my galaxy buds 2 pro. - they are more comfortable than the 85t, which are very bulky. Those buds are very tiny, and I can see myself using them for quick naps. Cons: Every day, I need to unplug and plug back the adapter for it to work with MS teams properly I had to do this with the MS version. They do work without doing this, but mute/unmute does not sync with teams, and the connection does not allow to work far away unless I do so. Jabra please fix this. - they are in earbuds, so after long usage, my ears can sometimes get tired and need to take a break. The first 2 hrs is fine, but good to take breaks for a few mins before I can resume again using them. The case is a little bit bigger than the usual buds The case gets dirty easily, but they also get cleaned easily Overall, I am very satisfied with this, and they are my go-to buds when it comes to work and personal. I use them daily for work and listening to music during the day and answer calls. I have not received a complaint that they can not hear me or my voice is not clear. I have not used them in any noisy environment, so I can not speak about that part and mainly use hear through, which looks really, really good. Highly recommend them for a quiet environment. The UC version is the way to go because it offers more flexibility and controls.

Three colleagues bought this with very high hopes and all three returned. If you are looking for sound quality during business call, never buy this.

Invested in this ear buds as these are MS teams compatible, tried Jabra evolve 2 75 and its bulky but works great. Returned it and bought these, works with iPhone but not with laptop. Updated the dongle software, called Jabra support without success. Can't hear anything on laptop. Returned.

Nunca funcionaron. El estuche de carga muestra carga completa pero los audífonos jamás cargan por lo cual no se pueden activar. Al abrir el estuche, deberían encender los audífonos, lo cual no sucede. Intenté las recomendaciones del fabricante: presionar Los botones de Los 2 audífonos por 3 segundos y también por 10 segundos para restaurar de fábrica. Nada funciona. Inicié proceso de devolución con amazon y adquirí unos nuevos del mismo modelo ya que los necesito con urgencia para realizar mis actividades laborales. Actualizaré si la experiencia con los nuevos es positiva.
