6 pads for $6 is a no brainer. You can't go wrong with these tire shine pads. I love the shape of these types of pads since you can really get in there close to your tire bead/rim lip. And so far one pad has lasted me shining all four tires four times each and the pad is still holding up very well. Yes, some material is flaking off but ALL tire shine pads do that. And if you're living in the real world you can't expect tire shine pads to last forever. Plus it depends a lot on your technique of shining your tires. If you're aggressive of course your pad is gonna take a beating and not last, but if you're gentle you can extend the life of any pad. Update 10.16.25 These pads are definitely my go to tire shine pads from now on!!! It's been almost 18 months since I bought the 6 pack of these pads and I still have have two pads left since I just started using my fourth pad today after detailing my car. These pads have been extremely durable because I clean my car once a week and I always tire shine my tires after every cleaning.

This style of tire dressing applicator works just fine for me, and I like that they're a value-minded purchase. Eventually they'll get to the point of being sort of 'clogged up', depending on what dressing you use.. or they may start to finally come apart after a lot of use. Then you just retire that one and grab a new one and start fresh. They seem to last a while before needing replacing.

It holds dressing well and glides fairly well. The height of the applicator is a bit lower than expected. As some have specified, the foam can separate easily from the foam grip. But this is from repeated uses and the degradation of the foam is what to expect for the price. I've bought plenty from Walmart and elsewhere and this is about on par for them. The difference is quantity and price vs the store. That's why I would recommend them. But if you need a heavier duty one for suv/truck tire, keep scrolling.

I like these applicators for tire dressing because the hemispherical/semi-circular shape allows you to cover the whole tire - even those annoying little bits nearer to the ground or driveway without spraying and getting it all over the wheel you just cleaned all the brake dust off of or getting it all over your car's paint just so you can cover the whole tire. I just pop mine into a ziploc bag when I'm done and it's ready to use the next time. Should probably mention I usually wear one nitrile glove over the hand holding the applicator, so when I spray or squirt the dressing on the applicator, nothing gets on my hands either. These make applying tire dressing a much cleaner operation, so love 'em.

I like these more than I thought I would. After reading some reviews before purchasing, I thought they were going to fall apart and get torn up too easy. This is not the case at all. People need to realize that your tire shine product is also lubrication, which if the right amount is there, you won't tear up the foam pad. Once the product is gone, or very minimal, the foam will drag against the tire causing tears in the foam. This is easy to avoid. Another thing I saw was people saying they were separating between the two foam pieces. I believe this is from the tire shine product used. Petroleum, silicone & solvent based products can break down adhesives as well as other damage to your tires & trim pieces. I use water based products only and have no issues like this. I use one of these foam pads for four detail washings, then discard it. It is possible to still use them, I just choose to go to a new pad. I figure at a buck a piece (I bought 12pcs for $12) why not? A great bang for the buck. The outer sharper edges get perfectly between my rim & tire and the arch of the pad works really well on both of my truck & SUV. If the price stays the same, I'll continue to buy these. Heck of a bargain in my opinion. I highly recommend them.

I use these with my wheel gel as it's much easier to apply it using these. Curve to the sponge makes sure even contact on the entire wheel for super duper shine

Well worth the money.

First off, I realize these sponges are on the CHEAPER side, but I should get more than one use per sponge. Adhesive came loose on the first one and the black foam started tearing away on the second one. I do not recommend these. There must be better sponges out there that will last more than 1x use per sponge. BUYER BEWARE.
