Great ps4 controller thats like xbox 1s controller[greatest controller ever designed]
I have had the controller for about two weeks and i am surprised all the negative reviews i never write these but i felt i had to on this awesome controller. It was a little awkward at first getting used to the triggers but now i have to say i love this controller and i have improved on fps like cod which is why i got it. It is wired but it dont bother me. i will get a wireless when i can afford it. It is far superior to the worst controller design in the history of the world which is the regular PS4 dualshock[dualsuck] but i have always always preferred the xbox controller as i am a halo fan[need halo6 now] and the xbox one regular controllers were such an upgrade from the 360 that i am so dang proud best controller of life. PS4 dualshock just feels cheap. charge doesnt last long my brother has gone through about 7 i think. So i didnt program any of the other buttons didnt feel i needed to just wanted a well built nice feeling ps4 controller that was like the xbox 1s so i am very satisfieds.[will update in some months to say how the longivity is]

Closest you can get to the Xbox's Elite controller.
As a PS4 fanboy that desires to have an equivalent to the Xbox's Elite controller, it's pretty damn good and it's probably the closest you can get to the Xbox's Elite controller (besides the Nacon Pro Unlimited) for PS4. I've had it for two years (purchased in July 2018) and the only problem I've had with it is that sometimes the R2 acts up, but I don't blame the controller since I've dropped it a lot (I just blow some air into the R2 and it works just fine afterwards lol). One of my friends bought the controller because I told him how nice it was and he also claims this is the closest controller to Xbox One's Elite controller (he has an Xbox One as well). The rear buttons (M1, M2, M3, M4) have been quite reliable for the last two years, they still work properly and as intended. Don't listen to most of the kids in these reviews, they're probably upset because the controller lacks of Macro features which is actually good because it refrains cheaters from abusing macros in FPS games. Quality is pretty nice too, it's also lighter than the standard PS4 controller because it doesn't have a battery inside (it's a wired controller) and maybe it has less internal components.

Excellent Xbox Style Controller for PS4
As a former Xbox player I found myself looking for a pro style controller for the PS4. I ended up buying the Scuf Impact, Razer Raiju and Nacon Revolution V2. Of the three I am sending Razer back as I hate the placement on the lower extra triggers. They are just in a awkward place that is totally uncomfortable to hold. Granted they are removable but for $150 I expect decent ergonomics. The Scuf is very nice but I question its durability as control sticks are wearing pretty badly after 2 months. The Revolution V2 is very nice. I feel right at home with the stick placement yet still need more time to feel completely comfortable with it. Personally i feel that I should be a little more accurate than i currently am so i just have to get a better feel for the controller. The sticks feel great and are my personal favorite type. Concave for the left and domed for the right. Being wired there is zero input lag do every button press is reflected instantly. Makes things so much smoother and quicker feeling in Fortnite. I did buy a shorter usb type c cable as the included 9ft one is far too long for my desktop setup. Also the ability to modify the weight of the controller us nice and easily done. I really like the Revolution V2 and considering that it cost $80 less than my Scuf makes it even better. Edit 8/10/2018: Been using the Revolution V2 exclusively for about 2 weeks now and cannot go back to the standard Dualshock 4 now. Everything just feels so much smoother and I have much better control now in shooters. Such an excellent controller that deserves more attention than the other pro style controllers from Scuf and Razer. EDIT 3/8/2019: Have owned and used the Revolution 2 forc8 months now and still very happy with my purchase. Since originally buying the Nacon, I have tried the Razer Raiju Tournament edition controller as well as the Scuf Vantage and still like the Nacon better. It just feels better right away and I have had zero issues with it. The sticks on the Raiju had a mind of their own and I returned it. The Vantage just never felt good to me. Have trouble using all 4 paddles on the back and then couldn’t reach the side buttons without contorting my fingers awkwardly. Also the weight just felt off to me.

Okay but not Good or Great given the Price
I wanted an x-box controller layout with 4 paddles to use with my PS4 and I settled on this NACON Rev., based on other reviews and the price. I have used the NACON for about 8 months now--it still works for the most part. What I like is that it's larger than the PS4 controller--less hand cramping and the thumb sticks have a smoothness feel to them. The software enables configuration of all the buttons and paddles (mapping) and triggers (% response). What I don't like. The triggers do need a litter bit more effort to pull than a normal PS4 controller--people would say their a bit stiff. With the 4 paddles, two are long enough (though they could be 1/2 inch longer) they can be used for fps, but it takes a little bit of getting use to. The other two paddles ...well they are rocker toggle buttons, and you'll need to increase your muscle strength in your fourth finger to use them in the bad ergonomic layout--a redesign is needed to be competitive with other controllers with paddles, but the NACON cost less, also. Furthermore, what I didn't like. The headphone jack gave out, meaning only sound comes from one side of a headset instead of both--it's not a headset issue, I tested it with other audio output devices. If you pull the headset's plug out about 1/4 way and hold it there and move it, the headphone works, both sides; thus, it's the input jack of the controller, the input jack can not take multiple plugging and unplugging--I'm surprised that most manufacture still use this type of design, maybe it's the design in this case. Now I have to buy other devices in order to hook up my headphone to the PS4--I'm not buying another controller until this one craps out completely. Also, the large rectangular middle button is not smooth, compared with the PS4 controller, it makes a clicking noise every time the button is pressed--it does work though. I would not make the same purchase again, improvements are needed that could make this controller good if not great for the price. I'll go back and use the PS4 controller (cost less) with the strike pack, for two extra paddles, though I want four.

Hasn't failed me after many months of use
So I bought this controller even after reading many negative reviews about it. I cannot agree with the negative reviews at all. All the buttons are perfectly fine, even the extra back buttons. The back button I use the most doesn't "click" anymore but it still works. The analog sticks are great, haven't gotten to loose or anything. I have normal sized hands and this controller doesn't feel awkward. It feels like a normal controller. I use a "hybrid" setup on Overwatch. Meaning, I use the left side of the controller for movement, plus other abilities, and my mouse to aim, plus other abilities. The back buttons I use for "Tab" and crouch. I hate using the keyboard when I play Overwatch. Every other controller that I've used, they've failed after like 3 months, but this one is still working great. This is actually the best controller I've ever used. You can use it on the PS4 and PC, plus it's like an XBOX controller. It's perfect. I don't know why so many people had negative experiences with this controller. I guess I was lucky.

It was okay while it lasted (which wasn’t for very long).
This was a decent controller when it worked, but it couldn’t handle 3 months of regular use. The M2 button was the first to go. I was playing a game, and one minute the button was working completely normally, and the next minute it would no longer “click” when pressed down, and would no longer trigger any action on-screen. The controller hadn’t been dropped, knocked against anything, or otherwise abused, the button just randomly stopped working. I sent a message to the company (Nacon), through their support website, explaining what happened, but I never got a reply. Not long after, I started noticing that the left trigger would occasionally get stuck — not physically stuck, but when the trigger was released, the action on-screen would not end until several seconds later. It wasn’t a constant issue, but it happened frequently enough to become a problem, so I made another attempt to contact Nacon through their website. Again, I got no reply. Just a couple weeks later, the M4 button stopped working, in the same fashion that the M2 button had done, previously. I haven’t yet made a third attempt to contact the company, because clearly there is something wrong with either their support website or their customer service in general. Aside from the controller falling apart, the only thing I didn’t like about it was the ergonomics. The triggers and bumpers positioned at very odd angles, such that if you grip the controller the way you would grip any other controller, your fingers rest on the inner edges of the buttons, rather than laying flat against them. You get somewhat accustomed to it over time, but it never feels comfortable. Additionally, the raised ridge around the top surface of the left thumbstick feels quite hard and uncomfortable against the thumb, especially after an hour or so of playtime. I had to buy rubber caps to put over it to alleviate this issue, because it was making my thumb sore.

Nice features, poor design.
I've had the product for less than 2 months and had to return it due to either shoddy craftsmanship or poor design. It didn't help that NACON wouldn't address my request for help and bounced me back to Amazon (who refunded me). First the pros: -Nice features with thumbstick calibrations -Different saved sets of button mapping -Still has a touchpad (even if not used much) -Has extra buttons on the controller for more options -Can change weight of controller -Customize force feedback Now cons: -Very uncomfortable (I was forced to use a different button configuration just because it didn't feel good) -As another reviewer mentioned, the back buttons (M1 to M4) do not work after a while. They do not click and was the main issue for my return. -D-Pad was squeaky and made funny noises. Had to use WD-40 on it. -Possibly due to the construction of D-Pad, it is not accurate. Pushing "right" on the button will sometimes also hit "down". -For some reason both thumbsticks are designed differently so feels a little odd in use. -Share button is placed awkwardly and is blocked by the left thumbstick. -Have to use PC to change button configurations and other customizations. In summary, poor customer service from NACON and having the controller basically not work (back buttons became unresponsive) have netted this review score. Took less than 2 months. If you do buy this, do not buy from a non-Amazon authorized seller. You'll be screwed once problems pop up.

Not quite an "Elite" PS4 controller but close...
I have the Xbox Elite Controller and had a hard time adjusting to the PS4 standard controller when I purchased the PS4 Pro. The Nacon caught my eye with the off set analog sticks and the large buttons. I was a little cautious about purchasing it because of the price but I remembered I forked up the money for the Elite back then. The USB-C cord (3 meters long) is very sturdy and controls and the controller itself is very responsive so there's no lag and fits better in my hands than the standard PS4 controller. I love the customizable weight feature. I chose the heaviest to match as close to the Elite. Although the D-pad looks kinda made of cheap plastic, I think it feels and controls better than the Elite's D-pad not to mention that the PS4 controller doesn't even have a D-Pad. Please note to not expect the Nacon to be exactly like the Elite. The analog sticks and D-pad are not customizable and it doesn't have the extra trigger flaps underneath the Elite. It does matches in terms of size and off set analog sticks but I notice that the grip handles are not as wide as the Elite. Probably the only real downsides are the odd feel of the trigger buttons if you're already use to the PS4 standard or Xbox controllers but I've gotten use to it and started appreciating the wide feel of the triggers so I can never miss them while playing. The other downside is that it doesn't come with a hard case but only a protective bag (won't protect it from drops). Lastly, Nacon can also be used as a PC controller.
