While this is smaller in size to the coffee table book, "The Art of Harley Quinn," it a great companion to it. 170 full-color covers of everyone's favorite madcap mistress of mirth (and Mr. J's on-again, off-again sidechick -- I would love to claim credit for that pun, but it came from someone else, I just can't recall who).All but one or two of the covers printed here are without the comic's title logo and other text, leaving just the beauty of the original art to be enjoyed. Each cover is given a full page for itself, accompanied by details of the comic book it appeared on and the artists who drew/inked/painted it.Looking at the variety of approaches by artists Bruce Timm, Terry & Rachel Dodson, Frank Cho, Neal Adams, Jim Lee, and others is fascinating, but to me the most wonderful are those by Amanda Conner. Each cover by Conner has the unbridled joy that is the devilish and yet completely lovable Harley Quinn --- and Conner makes them even funnier by details surrounding the main characters that turn each cover into a full event in itself.

I really liked this book! Sure, there could've been a few more Classic-Harley covers, but the opportunity to see my favourite artists take on my favourite character was too good to pass up! Anybody looking for logo-free versions of their favourite variant covers would do well to buy this book....
