Wonderful portable amp despite imperfections
I have two teenage boys and they both LOVE this amp. The best features of this amp are: 1) It is very portable and can be taken anywhere, 2) long battery life, 3) excellent distortion sound, and 4) great price. For Christmas they got a Fender Frontman 10G which was more expensive and I thought would be "better", but the volume control is insane (turn it a tiny bit and it gets super loud), and the distortion sound isn't as good - it sounds a bit tinny. In order to kind-of replicate our Indio, I have to put bass on maximum and treble on minimum. But it still doesn't run on batteries, and they STILL like the Indio better. One of my sons EVEN PREFERS USING THE INDIO FOR HIS ELECTRONIC DRUMS even though he doesn't use distortion for them and where plugging in an A/C cord wouldn't even be a problem.Durability is a concern for the Indio. We had one for a year and it stopped working. I tried opening it up to fix it, and power was going to the board but still no sound. We were going to try to invoke a warranty, but, well, life happened, long story; they needed an amp bad and we just ordered a new (replacement) one, same kind.On the new Indio, after a few months the only problem so far is the handle broke. Kinda cheap rubbery material. Rather than attempt to find another handle, I just made a new one by drilling two large holes into the top, inserting nylon rope into the holes, and tying knots on the inside. Now they can lug it around all over the place again and I don't expect the handle to break again. No problems with the sound going out so far after a lot of transporting.I would DEFINITELY buy this amp again. I would gladly fix the handle or other things on it, because I don't think I'm ever going to find an amp with such nice sound and portability at this price level. I might even buy a second amp at some point so the boys don't fight over the best one! With the cheaper look and homemade handle, it doesn't look "trendy" like the Fender, but in the end, it's the sound that matters (which is why famous guitar players sometimes use beat-up guitars rather than pristine new ones).

Great little amp!
A lot of sound from a small amp. Took it camping, worked perfectly!! Great value for the money!

This is my preferred amp around the house.
As the headline says, this is the star of the house. The distortion button means I don't need a pedal if I decide to noodle around. The weight makes it portable and better than the headphone amps.

Great volume at a great price!
I am very satisfied with this little amp and will be using it to busk. The bass and treble effects are a plus and not found on many other portable amps. I'm a harmonica player so I'm careful with the boost control. But it has all the volume I need to acoustically accompany a few other instruments. Great price!

Not worth it
Super quiet. I know it’s a small cheap amp but you can’t hear anything unless it’s right against your ear and that is at full volume. Don’t waste your money
